| i know that say my elf bows have 6 range so a stack 7 spaces away gets half damage but does a stack 9 spaces away take even less damage also will a stack say 2 spaces away take more damage than a stack 3 spaces away. do you do more damage depending on how close they are or do u do do full damage for any stack inside range and half for any outside it. is it that simple? |

Except for creatures with Aimed shot, eg. crossbowmen.
Ranged attacks against targets within 3 tiles take greater ranged damage from this creature (target's defense is considered to be zero). |
for elven bowmen, there are 3 ways to attack
Melee, enemy directly near bowmen
in range, enemy 2-6 squares away
outside range, enemy 7-xx squares away
so it doesnt matter if the enemy is 7 or 99 squares away
or if hes 2 or 6 sqaures away, both same damage =) |
it's that simple
exept for aimed shot ability of xbowmen.
