Basic form: If your total Attack (unit+Hero) is higher than their total Defense (unit+ Hero), then each additional point of attack is +5% damage.
If your total Attack is (unit+Hero) is lower than their total Defense (unit+Hero), than each additional point of Defense they have is -5% damage.
If they're equal, then it's just base damage.
The formula's a hair more complicated than that, but that's about what it comes out to until you hit the extremes (having 25 defense higher than your opponent's offense will not give you more hit points). |
