I calculated: Light Axe - 2ap - 34 gpb
Leather Helmet - 1ap - 39 gpb
Leather Helmet - 1ap - 63 gpb
Defender Shield - 3ap - 82 gpb
Leather Boots - 1ap - 80 gpb
(gpb= gold per battle)
It's totally 298 gold per every battle. |

You almost got it.
You can use light axe, leather armor, defender shield, and the medal of bravery.
You can replace the axe with steel sword or the medal with the amulet of luck, if you want to spend slightly more.
Or spend even more and make it simple with the sword of might. |
Sword of might is about 600 gold per battle.
I have allot of money but I have better things to spend it on. |
you can calculate the cost per fight with
0.35*cost/durability
most cost effective imho
deffender shield - 30 gold
reprisal sword - 34 gold
medal of bravery - 24 gold
88 per fight ;-) |
Even better solution!
Replace helmet and boots with medal of bravery.
Then it will be about 220 gold per battle.
I think it's the best solution. |
Light axe + Defender Shield + Leather Helmet + Leather Armor + Medal of Bravery (for necro useless then better use Amulet of Luck) ! ^^

I use equillibrium sword and defender shield.
Not sure if it is the cheapest way to go, but it takes up the least amount of space in your inventory :) |

At 8ap I used sword of Equil and an amulet of luck...both have useful bonuses ;) |
