not really - all repairs give you the same points based on the following formula
4000 gold = 1 smith guild point = 1 hour repair time.
now repairing a hunter art for 400 gold in 6 min gives 0.1 point
and at the same rate repairing sword of might for 11760 will give you 2.94 points in approx 2h 50min. |

Haha you are funny.
The sensible person enlists the BEST smith on server (even at over 100% repair cost) to repair any RARE or ENHANCED items :P
Merchandising? That would take a very long time to earn the telephone numbers of gold required! |

i agree, already too many established smiths out there. Unless they quit the game, leveling smith may not bring any good. |

Leveling a smith is very good because people can--and do--quit all the time.
Walker vanished for a good while, and he used to have the best smith.
Also, if you keep on using the same top 1-3 smiths, the wait times to get your items back gets longer, and longer.
I have been working on my smith since level 6 (I'm level 9 now) when I built it, and am already at 50% repairs.
It isn't hard. Just takes patience. |

Yes it has cost a lot of gold...but it can be done. I have 2 junior smiths in my clan too, all new smiths like myself, one is at 30% and the other is at 40%. The point is, it can be done, and someday, my clan (League of Shadows) will have great smiths all around...and low wait times for clanny repairs, etc.
It is an investment worth making if you plan on playing this game for the long run. |
