Can someone please explain to me how hard it is to make a game that awards winners and not losers?
Here's what I'm talking about:

In this battle I was victorious (even though i got killed very fast) and I received 427 Exp and 0,66 Fsp. Fsp/Exp = 1,55*1000
Another player who lost the battle got 273Exp and 0,8 Fsp.
So his/her Fsp/Exp = 2,93*1000
That's almost twice as good a ratio than if you win!

Here's another battle that I lost but got the same amount of Fsp than a player who won the battle. But he got two times more experience than me.
My point is that even though it has been said that losing a battle doesn't give you any advantage (and that players with very high faction levels and very low combat levels can't exist any more) this is far from being true.
And my question is: Will this game make the Fsp/Exp ratio lower for losers than for winers or do I have to make another character and intentionally lose my fights? |
