Author | Advice for knight faction (more specifically Swordmen) |
Hey =)
So, i basically have two questions;
- when will i be able to learn magic (i am currently a lvl 3 knight)
- this one is slightly more complex; at my level should i try to use my swordsmen "RAGE" (as in make a few stacks as to boost the main stacks attack)? If so, how many stacks (of how many swordsmen) should i make? (i have 19 swordsmen)
any tips on knight tactics are also extremely wellcome :) | https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1842541
ask your questions about knights there,
and to answer your questions:
- at level 5
- try to get your faction level up, so you can recruit more swordsmen
Then put max swordsmen, put them on 1 stack, and bowmen in another big stack, then split farmers in 5 stacks to protect your bowmen and take away the retaliation for the swordsmen (so you attack with farmers first, to take retaliation away, and give swordsmen attack+1 ) | - when will i be able to learn magic (i am currently a lvl 3 knight)
At lvl 5 when you have build the mage guild in the castle.

Yes, you should.

Don't use swords for that, take farmer or bowman instead and use as many stacks (consisting of one (1) farmer/bowman) as possible. You can use these stacks to take the retaliation or to block the way. | I think (played a bitwith knights, but don't really like the gameplay with them) that bowmens have a better initiative than farmers and recruits, so I'd try with 3 stacks of 1 or 2 bowmens to take retaliation in place of farmers or recruits. | thx for the advice :) | closed by Pang (2009-01-05 19:31:48) |
