AuthorA Request to all players, New and Old
The most important places to seek Employment

1. Blooming Glade
a. Lab
b. Magic Factory
c. Gem Mine

2. Silent Hill
a. Crystal Cavern

Note there may be a couple of other ideal places too.
------

What is the Incentive to New Players to make this move from the Great Capital?

Firtly, you will discover very quickly that money is scarce, and that you need money quickly to buy magic and more importantly Castle Upgrades. Blooming Glade and Silent Hill have higher wages than in the Great Capital. (you can find them by Clicking 'Map' in your menu - and move there by clicking the compass direction bottomm right).

Secondly there is a great oversupply of Iron ore and Wood. Wages for these products tend to run out quicker than for the other resources.

Thirdly, you'll be doing yourself a service in the long run. More powerful artifacts tend to require rarer resources eg Magic Powder and Mercury. By Mining and Manufacturing these resources and with your larger wages, these artifacts become more readily available. - Yes when you work you actually make resources that become available for sale when the Shift ends. -

Fourthly, you disadvantage yourself in no way. Low level heroes cannot be ambushed by "Thief Heroes", and Hunts remain the same.

For the more experienced players I think you are likely to have had a taste of resource shortages already.

Mercenary Quests are an important feature of the game so many people like to hang out at Yellow Lake. However it is not far to the Glooming Glade. You may have also noticed that Yellow Lake is often the first area where wages dry up.

Generally speaking there are plenty of Timber and Iron ore. There are moderate amounts of Sulfer and gems. However there is a shortage of Crystals and there is a chronic shortage of Mercury.

Because there is a chronic shortage of Mercury there is also a chronic shortage of Magic Powder. Mercury and Magic Powder are important ingredients to many (important) Artifacts.

Players banding together to ease these shortages helps everyone in the long run.

I open this topic for those with an opinion and those who chase up Nickel, Steel and Leather (ie the partially processed resources).

Cheers
well i nearly always hang out at the Blooming Glade but despite your nice theory it's hard to find there a job other than Lab/Farm/Mine
if i enroll 8 times a day and can only enroll once at the Magic Factory or a better facilitiy (most days i can't) and the Magic Factory has ALWAYS enough ressources/Gold to work then the problem is somewhere else
as long as i even can't work at the Magic Factory i will continue to produce worthless things such as Gems because it's better than doing nothing
maybe it would help if more player could work at the magic factory
or if there was a second one
or if the ressources weren't requested that inequal for the artefacts
but it won't help if people come to Blooming Glade when the facility already can't support more worker
2) Chronic shortage of mercury = lack of resources for magic factory. It's been this way eveery time I have looked over the last few weeks
Van_GM

I don't believe there is a limit to the number of people that can work in a mine.

By encouraging more people to work in the Mercury mine, more Mercury becomes available. When there is more Mercury, more Mercury can be sold to the Magic Factory. When the Magic Factory has more Mercury available you may find the Magic Factory in a position to operate in a more optimised fashion.

Yes, gems aren't needed that much for artifacts, however they are needed for important castle upgrades.

Cheers
Why arent you guys pass the words to those who buy all the mercury but sell none to the Magic Factory, instead they prefer selling it at high prices on the market to make profit over it. Could be better then just trying to produce more and more and more, those who buy all the ressources (almost all) are already rich and get richer as we produce more for them to sell on the market.

Fusei and others, sell your mercury to the magic factory for god sake (in that case our sake, artifacts)
#5 Don't worry, they can't buy everything. Produce more than you need, sooner or later no one can buy all the mercury, if no one is buying from them.
Im not going to travel more times, so more times being ambushed, just to work in the mercury facility
If you want more mercury, admins should place a lab in yellow lake, or find a way to stop those merchants
great capital also has a lab u noe =.='
4)
there is a max number of people who can work in a mine.
8:

yes but only 25 spots

9;

yes but there are 250 spots so its never full at least at lab in blooming glade
If you want ..., admins should ...

That kind of reasoning is outright ridiculous, if YOU want ..., YOU should ...
Don't always cry for divine intervention, this is a war game not a church choir.
Ahh, fusei, nice point there. However, you mention the word 'game'. It is a game so there is always intervention here and there. The problem is, it is not the kind of intervention that we want. Better than nothing. This is a Game!Even if it is about war, it is still a Game. And can you give a 'If You want..., You should... solutions to us? If can't, better call for some divine intervention lolz. Every time I see at those mining factories and other raw materials, it is always sold out before I get the chance to buy it.
Of course what you can do is go to Blooming Glade and work there each hour rather than waiting for the lab coming over to you in Yellow Lake, because it won't. I realize that one player doesn't make a big difference, but if all the people who cry for mercury worked in the lab it would run at full efficiency.

Right now it's relatively easy to get mercury due to increased productivity.
Fusei

I have noticed a lot more people working in the Lab at Blooming Glade, and I have noticed a greater supply of Mercury at the Market. I think it is only a matter of time for there to eventually be a surplus of Mercury at the Lab.

Thanks and keep it up everyone. The Mercury drought is not over yet, but it is improving.

Cheers

i believe it's because the increased productivity bonus is still in effect?
well i don't know how that you-can't-enroll-system works anyway
yesterday 2 hours after my last enrollment was over i wanted to enroll at the Magic Factory. On the Map at Machining Buildings i see the Magic Factory has no Arrows - not possible. When i klicked on the Facilities' Name i saw that there was over 100 of each Mercury and Sulphur in Stock, there were 8 Posts free but i wasn't able to enroll. At that time i was for shure not working anywhere (no "
You are already employed." sign anywhere, i checked my character's page too), enough ressources were there and free Posts. But i wasn't able to enroll. That's what confused me really.
And there are days like today where there's no Free Post left. The Magic Factory has only 24 Free Posts and there is no need for more People to come to Blooming Gate, there are already enough here. They just need to check the Magic Factory first before enrolling somewhere else
Some more good news.

The Magic factory has nearly a full quota of Mercury and a full workforce.

Also at the end of the last shift at the Lab there were only 2 or 3 positions free - it was virtually at full capacity.

Although the Mercury did go quickly (20 seconds), buyers are now limited to 7 units per shift. This should punish those hoarding as slowly Mercury is becoming more accessible to players.

Players with a couple of hundred units of Mercury may want to start thinking about offloading it while prices at the market are still profitable, because soon I have a feeling it will become dificult.

Keep up the good work everyone as this shift of the workforce and shift of attitude is working.

To Van_GM - It is not just about the Magic factory (although that is important) it is the fact that the Magic Factory's production was being stunted due to the lack of Mercury. The fact that Mercury supplies are slowly being restored and the Magic Factory now has adequate stock of Mercury and as more magic Powder is being produced (whether you have it or not), more artifacts will be made.
