The large crowd of Lords were standing in queue at the Sphynx's lair entrance, thriving to take their challenge. The silent Sphynx guardians stood steady and were letting Lords one by one. Suddenly, a Necromancer ran thrusting his way through the challenge-seekers and thronging them, forcing to break the queue.
-Please, - he yelled at the Sphynx guardians, - Please, I have a Mercenary quest to submit, I need to face the Sphynx NOW!
The guardians' faces took severe expression as they crossed their blades, blocking the entrance way.
-Come ooon, let me in! - the Undead whined. - If I don't come in time they'll laugh at me and dishonor my reputation!.. Gah! You stupid beasts, you don't understand anything anyway...
-We do, - the guardian said. - But you cannot pass.
The whole crowd grew dumb with astonishment. There was complete silence for quite a long while.
-You spoke! You speak Human? - a Knight shrieked.
-No, I speak, let's say, Lordish, - the guardian giggled.
-But you are Feline!
-But it's Christmas! - the creature said, letting the first-in-queue Demon inside the Lair.
-Do you understand anything? - the Barbarian asked a wolf rider next to him.
-I don't - said the wolf rider.
-I do, - said the wolf rider's wolf. The rider fell from it right on the ground.
-But can you understand us when it's ordinary time? - The Necromancer asked in awe.
-Not usually, no, but you can change that.
-How?!
-Remember where you were hurrying so desperately? There hasn't been a wish yet that the Sphynx could not fulfill... | TL;DR version (Wow, you ARE lazy).
Events: People are being challenged by the Sphynx. A chat occurs between humanoid and bestial beings. Beasts report it as a Christmas wonder, but hint the Necromancer with an option to make that permanent.
Updates: Neutral creatures talk random (most often) phrases in hunt and MG quests.
