Author | Someone is buying all mercury!!! |
Someone waits for mercury to make and buy all and then sell on market make profit. This is illegal. :) |
This is illegal. :) It is not :)
Also, it's nothing new :P |
It's not illegal to buy and sell this way, it's just... Stupid.
Frankly, how many gold can you expect on each mercury? sell them for 400? That's 20 gold per mercury unit, and in fact less because of taxes. Sell 20 mercuries this way and you earned 400 gold... Less than one hour enrollment in a mine with an average laborers' Guild level. How UN-impressive. And one locks 15,000 gold in the process.
Wait a bit, people can't be online 24/7. |
it's good they're putting it on the market, when they start keeping it to themselves then you can start complaining :) |
It's not just people hoarding to sell to the market.
I recently had to buy 45+ Mercury for Lvl 2 Mage Guild and Enchanted Gargoyles.
Didn't want to pay inflated market prices, so I carefully waited until I could buy.
Don't forget, there are now 2 places that make Mercury, just be patient and you should be able to get some.
It also helps to enroll at the Mine that you want to buy from. If it makes enough, the hoarders may not be able to buy it all before you do, and they also have to tie up even more of their money.
Also, don't buy anything from the market unless you absolutely have to. It just encourages the Hoarders. Patience is the best solution. |
Apparently there are plenty of people, who appreciate the service that they don't have to wait at the facilities themselves and are willing to pay a small fee for that. |
Wages of workers of Labs are already higher than the other mining facilities. hang in there, they can't keep the monopoly forever ;-) |
Hey guys don't be so naive. Someone (or more than 1 person) are using scripts to suck all mercury.
Today i've tried 4 times to buy mercury at the shift ends, but i didn't even see mercury while continuously pressing F5. |
Well, you won't see any mercury if you continuously press F5. :) It takes too long to refresh the page like that - and you only have one chance to buy something. But it doesn't take scripts to buy stuff :P |
IF there are scripts they can't be good, because I'm usually faster. As a matter of fact you don't need scripts. |
well im okay wif buying at market price as long as its not too much increased ^_^''
i just consider it as their prize for their luck and fast connections :) |

sry, i'm not a sibling of today, i have very fast internet connection and i pressed F5 1 sec before shift end. Encountering it once doesn't prove scripts but i've examined it 4 times in a row for mercury.
I've also noticed some market scripts on auction based sales. They autorespond to any bid until they hit a "ceiling". Not to mention that those guys were not online while bidding. We also tried something different with a friend of mine. We bid at the same time for different lots where the same guy had leading bid. Guess what, guy responded to both at the same milisecond! |

It's a game feature :DDD
As for mercury - when several dozen people are after 150 units of mercury - no wonder it disappers quickly ;) |
i ve bought 10 mercury ^_^ its real very hard to buy =(( i think that everyone want to buy it, so in 1 second there is no mercury =(( |
agree with it.
We can't buy mercury, and sulfur, and crystal, and all... That's begin very difficult to buy anything.
And now we can't buy, and when it's necessary to have 5 AP, we can't fight... |
I don't mind people buying it, moving it around, and selling it, even if it leaves no 'free mercury' for upgrades. But the hoarding is going to be a problem for a while... |
for Kotrin:
It's not illegal to buy and sell this way, it's just... Stupid.

The only stupid thing is to not make those extra 400 gold while hoarding 15K on your account. Most of the time the money just lays there doing one big chunk of N-O-T-H-I-N-G.
I'll explain further. Let's say I've got my arts in an "ok" condition, and I've got some cash stashed, and adding little by little 500-600 each hour by working at facilities. If I do the extra 400 each turn, I'd be making 1000 gold each hour. By the time one of my arts break, I'm either selling it, or sending it for a fix, and yes, if I need quick cash, I'm just selling the merchandise a bit cheaper. So I still have profit, and still have my cash, and I get my extra 400 each hour. Let's say I sign up to work each hour for like 10-14 times a day, it's easy, do it on my phone wherever I'm at, takes only a minute to do it, and it gets me around 6000 to 8000 gold each day, but if you add the re-sale value of the cash it would be extra 4000-5600 gold per day.
Now how much battles do you make a day? how much battles do you make with full art a day? Does it really require you to hoard all that cash?
I'm doing my thief missions, in 90% full art, and fight quite a lot, and I still have no reason for hoarding all that cash.
Oh and one last thing, the only way to make the prices lower is to make more competition. More people working in the lab, producing more mercury will lead to more people buying it and more people re-selling it, leading to overall prices being reduced. Hoarding the cash and not using it, only makes people like me and other "Stupid" people to take it away in bigger piles in the end.
:) |
Oh and there are 240 work places at the lab at the blooming glad. Assuming that an average for all workers is level 3 laborers guild, if everybody would go work there, it would be 240*3 = 720 mercury each hour. But the largest shift that have been there today was - 144, with less than half of production value of 720. |
Well I'm sure they're not scripts to buy these items the same thing is happening to gems. i just bought 20 gems. But there was 68 available. After i clicked buy for the 20 the rest just disappeared i suppose people are doing the same thing as me i need the gems for a the lv 2 mage guild |
Nope, LG 3 has just a factor 2 and basically you need 2 hours for one mercury, so output is 240 at top, under your assumptions. |
