Because the old one is outdated its okay for me to create this topic, rite?
well, i'm just wondering..
i'm Demon lvl 6 now..Before, my stat is atk 5 def 1 sp 3 kn 2 (magic build), because everybody says magic demon is very strong
but i get bored, so i change all my stat to atk (atk 10 def 1)
and i think its way more fun than magic, because suddenly my spawns become very strong n.n
what do you guys think? is might >> magic? or it depends on the situation?

maybe 1 sp for ghost...with gatet units you get min 12 mana so you can shoot 3 times on ghost.....elf is difficult if you splitt spawns and he got rain of arrow..att demon is great...later i would change to magic with talents on sorecery and hellfire with lot of mana..min 3 knowledge...should really rock...att demon should raise ini aswell to kill all :-) |

u must kill ghost before ur 3rd turn
its not hard, actually demon has 5 big stacks
wolf real/gated,spawn real/gated,succubi
and a lot of small stacks to take retaliation |

why do we need to kill it before 3rd turn? is it because after 3rd turn, more enemies are coming (vamps, zombies)? |

u'll dead when ghost+vamp+skelbow rush u in the same time
u must at least eliminate a stack 1st
to prevent raising dead from an alive stack
when a stack already dead and raised, its easier,
we can crush them before they got their turn |
4. necros are not a problem for demons. it doesn't metter when you kill ghosts
5-6 levels i used magic.
7 level 1 kn point (to use sometimes spikes for example to kill 3 stacks of ghosts arround skeletons archers, or to use curse befor the attack of big enemy stack), other poinst to attack.
now at the 8-th level I turned to magic again, because succs are loosers (the team with less ranged units and less magic have to attack first and loose). Plus poison is nice. :) |
um im about to be lv 6 and will do mainly merc quest and hopefullyy a bit of thieving. I was thinking of a 2knowledge 3 spell power build but am not sure if this is the best for these things. Advice would be much apreciated. |
6 lvl demon. 0 skill points in "magic" - pure attacker. Took 2lvl TG in 7 days with fullart and now can win 50% caravans without it. |

i have to agree with the popular opinion here...lvl 5 & 6- magic demon rocks...in fact at lvl 6 i was almost invincible 1 on 1 :)
but from lvl 7 onwards, u might have to rethink your strategy a bit...i have gone for 3 knowledge, 3 spell power with hell fire but have run into difficulties with certain factions like knights :(

14. I meen fullart battle... I had lots of problems with armour and escort of knights. In nude battles difference between attack and defence is great. So demons with their fast units have an advantage... |
Before, my stat is atk 5change all my stat to atk (atk 10
difference is 5 atack = +20%-25% more damage. from another side u have 46-64(in arts) damage from mag arrow + 8-10 free mana from spawns.
magic demon is better for siting in defence, bcause u can eliminate enemy archers in 1 turn and he will go atacking.
as for knights. they are problem at 5-7 lvl for demon. key of succes is to put delay on swords in dirrect time ;) hounds ant spawns will be able to make 2-3 turns before swords next time move. and 1 more, stay away from swords while u didnt kill grifs |
16. The promblem is not swords. The problem is escort. If swordmen have enough defence, hero will kill all the troops himself. |

If you play right, escort will not kill you and you will win. Happened very much for me. |
