Where is everybody!?!?! Where are the huunters!?!?!
Seems like great capital is not a good place to request hunters' assistance at CL 7. I'm moving permanently to yellow lake...after I've been slaughtered by these griffins first :(( |

this is actually quite a problem during server times 4:00 to 8:00...
during those times there are only 400-500 players, and apparently no lv 7 in any other locations than yl.
i have thought of a map feature that might help.
the map details should include how many players of each level there are in each location.
then each level can be expanded to show who is busy or not. if no other same lv player is found, the hunter can PM players in other locations who i'm sure will travel to assist.
alternately you can always PM me for assist :) |

It seems I am not the only one who finds this a problem, so that means it is not just a personal problem. If it affects other players, then it is a game-wide issue.
For example, several threads have been started along the lines of '+2 luck gives a lucky hit nearly every turn' etc. but these have not been moved, despite the fact that the thread is created in response to a personal issue or experience.
No big deal, I was just surprised to receive a PM from admin saying that I could face a forum ban for this...IMO that would be stupid an a little...er, dictatorial, perhaps? |

Hmm... how 'bout you guys gather more people interested in the discussion, who believe that lvl 7+ hunters abscent in GC is a major game-related problem?

Now, on to the topic: I wasn't long to understand that all in-game activity is around Yellow Lake, for players level 5 and up. They are always moving back and forth to the Mercenary Guild.
Frankly, I think someone setting up an ambush in Silent Hill / East Bay or Silent Hill / Blooming Glade would probably die of old age.
It's indeed a problem when you are stuck to a location because you like local tavern rules here (*cough*StorminMerlin*cough*) and sometimes seek help in hunt.
Not sure giving number of players in each location would change anything. |

Thus, you can see a major part of hunters online.
You can see how many of them are of same level as yours.
You can call for assistance anytime and _before_ 'setting a group-hunt' - no more frustrations because of "I called, but was slaughtered alone".
You can call for assistance several hunters at once. But better use Private option when there are few hunters of your level. (You get a fancy-looking more-noticeable reddish tint, btw)
You can see and _choose_ the hunter of preferable faction, by using same ol' Private option.
More than that, you get a mighty [i] button next to those nicknames. Which allows you to: open the hunter's profile and write a PM right away. And, you can see the sector(!) (s)he is currently in. Unbelievable!
Need I say more, or are you ready to purchase our 'Hunter room' bundle already?

Sounds good, in theory :) But apparently 'Hunting room' isn't exactly popular among hunters - finding help there is next to imposible. Shame, really...

sometimes I avoided asstisting hunt to someone
I dun like even if I get hunt guild and fraction pts.
I'm quite a fervent hunt assistant.
I even sort of avoided battles but forcus on huntin and quest.
It may be tat u didn't treat yr assistance well.
I noe if I blacklist someone in hunt,
i.e fastgambler1980(esp wizard)
who shoots asstistance for sake of a few skill pts
I dun join even for the lure of hunt pts and {greater} arts. |

i would say that there are some ppl who like to help a lot in assistance...
all you gotta do is juz try to find a good one... ^_^
anyway, yellow lake seems to be the right place when you want to have assistance in hunting since -well so it seems- most of higher lvl players are gathered there by the mg.
at last...hunting room surely has to be the right place to find some help about that..but if i were you, i might want to check the "inquiry room" ^_^
