Dear support/admin staff,
I just want to report an insult of Player "Derryk" in his personal character page against one of our Clan Members "Commander". He calls him "Stinking" and "Dirty".

For new Players, the rule is:
1.10. The player is not allowed to place any obscenities, filthy photos, drug ads, pornography or insults on other players in their character information page, including photo album.
Derryk himself wrote me via PM today.

It's true. I think that true can't be an insult. It's normal to say "It's a cat" when I see a cat. It's normal to say "It's a dirty and stinking cheater" when I see a dirty and stinking cheater who pays money on .ru for improving his skill on .com licke commander does.

If you dont like eachother, fine. But in Public, please treat other players with respect and be nice. At least do it in Private. We have very young players here, and they have the legal right to non-foulish game Experience and Language. |

As you may find in variuos official international Dictionaries, the words "Stinking" and "Dirty" are considered abusive, example:

-> To be highly offensive or abhorrent.
And, Shebali, you know I am right. If someone would theoratically call you "Stinking" and "Dirty", you wouldnt feel offended in any way? I dont believe that.

You are all right, as it depends greatly on the kids age. Parents are responsible. Thats why parents use common guidelines - Kids should use the medium internet at age 8 and up - its important in the growth process:

So, e.g. for a 14-year-old, LoWM has low violence and is an appropriate and intelligent game (unlike Counter Strike, better they play LoWM).
Abusive language easily can be avoided to maintain a high standard of ethical behavior. That way, not only kids, but also grown ups have a greater game experience, if treatet with respect and kindness. |

even if it seems a crooked way of improving enchantment skill (emphasis on seems), Commander has never been punished, even though i'm quite certain the admins looked into it deeply, the way warlord and several of his guildmates obviously slandered Commander. Still, Commander wasn't found guilty of any rulebreak as far i can see.
Derryk, on the other hand, was already found guilty of a breach of rules (and was imposed a penalty of 1000 gold as well as teporary ban), and he still violates the rule cited by Halbarus, in that he describes Halbarus and Commander ("and his likes", whatever he means by it) as stinking and dirty, which probably aren't foul words by themselves, but certainly meant to insult when used as attributes of a person, and that is what is forbidden by the cited rule, Shebali.
If I would, hypothetically, see Derryk as slandering bastard, and would post that in my character info, I believe that would earn me a ban, and probably quite rightfully so, even if it would be a (hypothetical) point of "i call them as i see them".
I'm not saying that he is, either, misself, and that is the difference of us to Derryk, and the reason why I believe he should be reminded to change his personal description accordingly. |

"Stinking and dirty" is nothing compared to the insult from Mercenary Guild when you fail the mission.
This means we have to protect young players from this game :) |

Once, I also read "the same" insult in Commander's personal character page, accusing Derryk of using script. But it is already missing now(maybe that's the reason why this topic appears?). I believe some players already read it too.
Basically, both players "insult" each other in their character page.
Once Commander put an accusation of whole New Elite Clan are cheaters in his character page. This should be considered "multiple insults". And it was addressed to you too Halbarus, since you were New Elite before :) |

If Admin decide to punish Derryk for putting "insult" in character page, then Commander should be punished too.
IMO, insulting multiple characters at once (read: whole clan) should have more punishment if we want to stick to this rule.

(Great,a clan war.I was standing on both side.I m both in Dragon Heroes and Warrior Guild.Oh My God.)But still this only deserve a penatly to me.He didnt directly using foul to insult.So,I think lesser punishment is carry out.(IP block or ban I should said it way too heavy.Even if he insult well known people(Kusika for example.Even commander is famous for the best enchanting) like this.The level of this insult still doesnt deserve a block)

Depending on the context, I may or may not have been offended. I've certanly been called worse things (including a cheater) but since those insults weren't based on facts they carry little weight for me :)
Also, as h4nd pointed out, if Derryk is to be punished for having insults on his char's page, then Comander definetly should be punished too (offence of both a single player and earlier a clan)

Commander is a cheater and derryk is frustrated that his honest play is in the shaddow of commanders pda enchantments multis. I understand derryk need to go to the limit in strong words...
