For CitizenX (once again): There is no way to proof dolphins are very clever, so there's no use claiming it or stating it in any way. And if it was a joke, I simply don't get it....
And I agree with Geia, natural human instinct was probably to dominate other creatures, nowadays most of my peers only dominate on WOW though. |

OK. The brain of an adult dolphin weighs about 1700 grammes, and of the human - 1400. The brain of a dolphin contains twice more gyruses in a brain cortex...

The moment I see a dolphin do rocket science i'll concede that they're smarter than us. Because just making clicking noises and jumping out of the water for a fishy from master human trainer doesn't quite convince me they're smarter than us.

It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on - whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same reasons.

In fact there was only one species on the planet more intelligent than dolphins, and they spent a lot of their time in behavioral research laboratories running round inside wheels and conducting frighteningly elegant and subtle experiments on man. The fact that once again man completely misinterpreted this relationship was entirely according to these creatures' plans.
