Hi all,
I was wondering if I am the only one this happens to. When a battle starts & sometimes in the middle of a battle, the game will freeze/or lock up. I have had this happen to me several times (3 times on a computer at work & twice on my laptop). This wouldn't be so bad except that the game continues & often the person who is helping me hunt has to wait for the timer to run down & I have to race to get back in the game. The first time it crashed my computer, but the other times it is just a matter of closing all the open IE windows I have & logging back in. But for me it is a problem. |
| This happens to me on the russian server when I'm watching battles, it just stops...strange. But isn't hasn't happened here yet for me. |
| try using firefox.. it is a much better browser than IE |
I use firefox and its happened to me many many times.
I'm currently using a laptop to play but occasionally a desktop.
Also random defending... annoying as Nil, happened yesterday in a duel with an elf, was wanting to attack but defended with bowmen instead... was kind of annoying.. pressed no buttons... switches no windows, only moved touchpad a minimal amount far from the defend icon. |
the gane defends by default when you switch tabs using ctrl + tab...make sure you do not do it..
as for your laptop problem... try minimizing the sensitivity of the touchpad (i use a laptop all the time) or use the trackball if you have it. |
im having the same problems kyrian, its happened atleast 10 times today (3 times in last battle alone), probably more, sometimes i cant get on the website at all and i have no idea why everything worked fine until two days ago when i was repeatedly disconnected and couldnt even get onto the server for 1-2 hours
anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? not sure why it suddenly started happening after a smooth run for around a week |
| it has never happened to me, ive never experienced trouble with IE, screw firefox and start using IE :) |
i m facing the same problem now.
not able to open map, cannt get into my ongoing quest(it just hangs me up there and says "unable to send command to server"), cannt join battle. :(
lol i m doomed.
Please help.
PS: and neither IE nor Firefox seem to be working as a solution. |
| i dont know if this will work for anyone else, but resetting my router seems to of fixed it |
