Last time I traveled over the map with single unit.
This time I traveled with no troops, not even one. I'm just curious what will happen when I get ambush. Instant lose if I'm single?

probably not a good idea.. it seem if the hero is travel alone, the monks given is depend on lvl, maybe 1 monk per 1 lvl. |

Would an ambush with 0 gold mean you steal no gold, or does the hero that gets ambushed -37 gold? (for example) |
| You get money normally. Your opponent goes below zero. I ambushed some guy once and checked his profile just after and he had -13 gold ( he had no penalties or some other kind of gold reduction in log ). |

if you have less units then the thief you always get monks.
this is usefull for low levels cause 1 time i got like 25 monks.
however you get only 8. if you were ambushed alone, you would surely loose
so i think going without troops is not advisable, at least not for high lvl players |
lucky I didn't travel with single unit, if not, I missed the nice chance like this.

yes, in my case, I "shall" be lvl8 with higher tier unit but because I'm naked XD so I got monks. |

like the moment now, lot players online, good to travel with full troops, probably get a partner to encounter the thief.
when there are few players only, usually I travel with single troops.
anyway, all depend on real luck. |
Thanks for the tips... I tavel'ed a lot with ZERO troops after read your post, but i ambushed by none so far :(

i got 59 monks in single thief battle against lvl 8 and full troops. I lose tough. but if im full arts there is chance i will win.
So later if im ambushed by lvl8 thief again when im lvl 6 i will get 59 monks again?
Is there the calculation about how many monks you get, or it is just luck? |
