Author | how that possible |
just fight in duel
elves versus elves
both 3 lvl
I was to artifacts +1 to init and +2 attack
enemy was no one art
still he attack first and his hit stronger
why?
why then need artifacts? |
At the beginning of combat, there is a 10% deviation in initiative. This means you might be 10% quicker or slower than "usual". Over time the turnorder reverts to normal.
So your arts worked fine, and he probably got "luck" or in halfrange with his archers to do more damage. |
there are 2 mistakes you made that caused you the victory.
1) you moved your 15fk into his 20 fk range in your first turn(very big mistake)
2) his smaller stacks of 2 bowmen each always gets his turn first as compared to your 5 bowmen stacks(in HWM, smaller stacks always get to move first) |
2) his smaller stacks of 2 bowmen each always gets his turn first as compared to your 5 bowmen stacks(in HWM, smaller stacks always get to move first)
hmm,thanks,that I dont know:)) |
for Kiz:
You are wrong. Initiative don't depends of quantity of stack, read "About the game"
There is 10% random in initiative and 5 stacks have more chance to have better random and attack first than 1-2 stacks of the same creatures.
PS. If you don't know something for sure - it's better to say nothing ;) |
for Fiot:
Well I have played some games and observed that when there are 5 stacks of bowmen (2 each) vs 2 stack of bowmen (5 each).
If both heroes have the same INI, and same lvl with no arts. The order of action would ALWAYS be
2 -- 2 -- 5 -- 2-- 5-- 2 -- 2 (or something like that, some of the 2 bowmen will get to move first)
At least that is what i observed. its not in the rules. |
And his +1% INI from his arts would not make much of a difference due to what you said There is 10% random in initiative
If two equally similar stack in numbers with the same INI, then it would be random. |
1. Initiative only gives you the ability to have a higher chance of going first.
2. Attack power of units are randomized(regardless of parameters).
3. Strategy can significantly change the odds of winning. |
