I'm still new to a lot of this, but my understanding is when you help someone in a hunt, you don't get the gold or experience.
You're pretty much just helping out a fellow player. I've assisted with a few hunts, and I've noticed some players will ask for help, but then they don't fight. they leave it up to the other player who joins. Which doesn't seem right. it's not that they're afk, i've looked at the combat logs, and they're repeatedly asking for help when they could have fought and won on their own.
are there any rules about this? shouldn't people be asking for help only when they really need it?
(Obviously, I can avoid this problem by just not helping on hunts. I just think it would be nice to be able to help someone, instead of having to take on the whole combat myself.) |
There are no rules about help in hunts |
Do you ever run into this situation? |
Yes, I was in such situation a lot of times |
Mostly people do their own part when they ask for assist. The case you speak of is probably someone who really wanted to stay in that level and avoids getting experience, which is quite rare.
Anyway in assisting others you can get 0.1 hunt guild point, up to 0.25 faction point, and a chance of getting hunter artifact. |
are u only allowed to assist people of ur lv |
for bobsrevenge999:
yes |
someone who really wanted to stay in that level and avoids getting experience wouldn't ask for help, because such a person gets all the xp anyway. Rather they would help others, or lose their own hunts(so they'd get skill points but not xp) |
i think the person i'm talking about is trying to get more experience by asking for assistance, and then being lazy and not participating in the combat. they're getting the experience by using other people. |
