| I admit I was not polite, and anyone can see that - you can read text watching a combat. You'll notice that I asked first about the nature of your absence and you said nothing. If you had been disconnected why didn't you say so? You're backtracking now. You had so many chances to respond yet you did not. I see you've found your voice now though. |

Heh. Yes, most definitely. I have made a post about each of my losses.
If there is a way to look at the time markers, see how long he took each turn. But hey, I didn't put this up so he would get punished by admin. I would have used the complaint section ( and the swearing would get some attention .) I put it up here for you all to judge - so you could avoid it happening to you. I was fully prepared - and expected - for some to judge me poorly as well.
This game has soooo many places where you have to sit and wait. I don't need someone intentionally making that wait longer. |

what shinigame was saying is what i was trying to say. and i take back the my word "pathetic" becouse i completely forgot that he may have waited until 5 seconds left per turn.
but like shinigame said. internet problems happen and its not always their fault. but i disagree with immortius for calling you an a-hole when he could of just said he was experiencing connection problems without the swearing |
I am aware of internet problems. That's why I asked ... and then asked again ... before assuming he was playing me. If you can click commands, I don't care what internet problesm you have, the keys on your keyboard still work. Anyone who wasn't just trying to be a pain would have said, 'sorry, internet probs.'
If you disagree, that's fine. The whole world isn't going to be my friend. ;) But it makes sense in no other way if you ask me. At any rate, even with the added flack upon myself, I've accomplished what I wanted. To put it out there so people could avoid the same situation.
It is just a game, so why would someone intentionally take away the fun from other people? |

nah, if internet probs are happening, then they happen equally for text and for battle commands. sometimes u hit enter, and nothing will happen. sometime u press move and nothing will happen. but u dont simply stop trying to move your units, you click till it happens, just as u message till it happens - get the message out there to lessen the frustration of a fellow games is much more important than pressing wait on a stack of units.
the message to explain the problems comes first.
the click to make a move comes a distant second, imo.
immortus likely didnt even try to send a message, would be my guess, he revelled in the fact that he was annoying wiry. i am just an independent outsider, i dont know either of the players, but that is my take on it.

Anytime I've had connection problems, it will send my message when the connection is re-established. So if you press enter and it doesn't take, you also can't make your troops move. You're either connected to the server or your not. Since his troops were moving, and they haven't implemented auto-combat, he could have typed something. But as far as I'm concerned it's a dead issue - just happened to catch this at the top of the page while I was traveling the map. ;)

I don't know about this battle; I am not going to watch it, being that there is no time-stamp to show your point -- but I have seen the opossum tactic before, and I do not like it. Is the person AFK? Am I wasting my time sitting here while this person may or may not be AFK? I don't know, and there is nothing to do but wait.
Similarly, I hate when players let the time elapse instead of just pressing the hourglass button. I almost think that players who 'wait' by letting the time elapse should miss their turn completely, as if they had pushed the defense button, but without gaining the defensive bonus. |

- Immortius, after you were able to move your troops, that means you were able to reply, but you didn't. You made 3 other people wait 240s for your AFK during the setting up of troops. And you didn't apologise. So yes you were inconsiderate, and you were wrong. To have the insolence of asking whether you were wrong, shows that you are incorrigible, stubborn, defensive, and will never admit your mistake. You don't realie that a simple 'sorry' about your AFK would have eased the tension. If you had said that, I don't think Wiry would feel so bitter about losing to a jerk like you.

Stubborn, guilty, rude, insecure and insolent people ask this kind of question.
Wiry has the right to judge because he and 2 other people SUFFERED under your AFK. Would you like to waste 4 min of your life waiting for no reason? If he doesn't slam you in a forum, things will never improve. |

Karoc, you don't understand the full story. In the end, Immortius could reply, but he chose not to apologise for his AFK. His engine was fine. He didn't bother to step on the accelerator so that he could bluff his mom he had engine problems, so that he did not need to do be a taxi-driver for her.
By making this unjustified attempt at sarcasm, do you support Immortius? You encourage people in this game to play possum/AFK and screw your game up?
