Author | Why so much No Arts? |
Im kind of sick of so many battles when ppl demand not to use artifact. Why is so? |
because they don't want 2 buy =p |
Or because they think it's more balanced and fun when strategy is the key to winning and not having the best items.
I personally don't mind using them, but given the choice between entering an arts match and a non-arts match, I tend to go with the second |
I think it is because most people don't want to raise their combat level quickly , as additional arts multiply the amount of experience gained .
However , I mostly think it is because people think it's more balanced and the key to winning a match is strategy , and not having the best artifacts , like what Kimbert said .
Honestly , I would also prefer going to a no arts match . Although , if I'm rich at the moment , a quarter/semi/full artifacts match is OK with me , no harm done either .
Anyways , it is their choice/right to host such a match , and it is only proper that we as 'guests' of the match , abide the 'host's' request . |
Non arts are for those who are not concentrated on "earning" gold so they can buy the best arts.
It severely reduces the cost of playing and equalizes the chance of winning. |
Well, argue about balancing is my my opinion wrong.
If u invest your time for earning money, you should have some advantage agains ppl, who just want to fight. Its same, like if u spent more time and switch fractions to make more bonuses for your units or if you spent time with practicing cooperations with friend/s.
If anyone take efforts, he should have advantage.
Strategy is fine and important, but as far as i know, be prepared ( by equip, practice, knowledge of oponent units, etc. ) is equal.
On the end, u can have best equip from game and hardly win, if ally is AFK :) |
You got your answer, how about making "All-must-wear-full-art-bought-from-diamonds-battles" and let ppl have their "slow-leveling/skills" battles in peace? ;)) |
what about creating your own challenges, where arts are allowed? |
i like no arts battles and i like full arts battles, what i do not like are battles where 2 ppl have full arts and the rest none.
and about earning gold to pay for them, if i had not won over 750k gold on roulette, i would not have my current artifact set, do keep in mind that artifacts that enhance magic skills are way more expensive than those that enhance attack or defence, so for everyone to have the artifacts they want, would be way more expensive for a wizard than for a barbarian. |
Good tactics have nothing to do with wearing full arts. The game isn't balanced for "naked" play.
There will only be a display of good tactics when all combatants wear full arts. |
What Agelage said is very true.
Some tribes get huge advantages in no arts battles versus others, because of the way the game mechanics work. Fast, high damage strategies get a huge bonus when fighting without artifacts, while slow strategies get big problems . The main reason for this is the fact that artifacts give huge amounts of defense compared to attack value, making artifacts battles naturally last longer compared to no-artifacts ones.
Of course if one side has artifacts and other does not, then the result is more or less certain, so it's rather natural to see fights without arts around. |
My question is: why do some ppl, who wear art, host no-art battles? |
Becouse its TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE. I bought full set for what? For about 50k and after 12-40 battles its all gone and my money is gone -__- |
engsigh,
that is becuase they do not want to lose........ |
if you have a full art sett you should be able to get half the money requierd to buy new ones from work and the rest from selling them what i have been dooing now since lvl 5 but uppgrading you arts is a diffrent matter so im not fighting now cuz i need to save up some money for a sword and also i dont whant to lvl to lvl 7 yet xD
furhter more no arts battles are cheats as far as i am concerned not only odes it surcomvent the whole money aspect of the game it also makes the matches unbalanced and unfair also a no arts fight would have to count for wizards mini arts to and thats just plain wrong since its the racial abilety of the wizzard |
Basically, there is so many no arts games because people like to rush through the levels. In the end they are only hurting themselves because their characters get weaker and weaker since they aren't working on getting for example their hunter guild or labor guild up.
If as a wizard I'm able to get my double mini artifacts and buy a decent set of arts, every other race should not have a problem with getting arts since they don't have to pay more than 150k for mini arts (and that is just for doubles, triples is going to be tougher). |
Basically, there is so many no arts games because people like to rush through the levels.
Nope.
Some people don't have time to enroll 10 times a day to factories to get the money required to get a full artifact set, so they decide to set up no arts battle just to play even with gold-laden players.
People afraid to lose also choose no arts game because losing such a game as no consequence at all. |
Getting money in this game per level has nothing to do with the amount of times you play as in how slow you go through your level. If you put more hours into the game a day you can make money quicker but you would level quicker. If you play smart you can make the same amount of money per playtime hour as the top players and have enough to buy arts.
For example if a person has the time to enroll 10 times in a factory and group battles 20 times a day (assuming he does it once every half hour), will have no money to buy arts. Now if a person only enrolls 3 or 4 times a day but they do mostly hunts, they will have money to buy arts.
So most of the people that do the no arts are those that are rushing they don't want to spend the time hunting to get the gold but want to level up quickly. I say most because some people do like to play no arts game occasionally. I've done a few, but most of the time if I would be dueling or group battle I will put on my set of arts.
Of course I won't get into the afkers that spoil the experience for everyone and I know it is difficult to get the money in early levels but when you hit combat lvl 5 you should be doing better with money. |
Imagine you are online one hour per day. You can enroll once and make a single group battle. No matter how many weeks you spend at this pace, you'll never have enough money to buy decent artifacts. |
I agree with you. Now if you are online one hour a day and you enroll once and do a hunt, when you get to lvl 5 you will have enough for a complete set of artifacts. |
