| Why knights talent Escort doesnt work on hydras? It works on other units with no relation ability, like vampires. |
| well most likely the hydra target another stack instead of the stack that you use escort on. Watch your battle again, it should be hitting 2 stack that time |

hydras hit all around, but target one
the hydra probably targeted another stack than the one you escorted, the target of the hydra attack is the one that could escort, the rest is only bonus dmge
same with EFK, they target one, if that one is not escorted, ye get no escort dmge, thou the stact takes dmge |

Faeries and Sprites' spray attack do get retaliated by escorting knight though.
Hydras do have a weird spray pattern, maybe like Jafia said... that a large creature like Hydra takes 4 tiles, but only 1 tile is it's main co-ordinate, if this co-ordinate is not directly next to the swordsmen, its spray can't trigger the escort? |
