Author | Easily Distinguishable Gated Mobs |
Fighting against demons can be a bit annoying when you want to prioritize killing actual mobs rather than the ones they summon.
Even if it's just an aura-like glow or they're semi-transparent (or their troop numbers semi-transparent), anything'd be good. |
just hold ctrl and double click them, they will have an effect called "Gated" in red words |
Yes, I know that, the whole point of my suggestion is that they're EASILY DISTINGUISHABLE.
Defintion of easily: With ease.
Definition of distinguishable: Capable of being perceived as different or distinct.
When I'm planning an attack, it gets tiresome control + double clicking on every demon mob to find out which ones are gated. |
i usuly jist check the initiative bar hold over the gated mobs there (easy to see becaue of the transparent picture) and see what units glow on the field |
lol its kinda weird trying to define the word esily with words like esily or ease. so:
Easily: To do something with minimal or no effort. This applies to understanding etc. |
i guess u mean a different graphics for gated monster =/ |
Or a big Red arrow for the really lazy... GZ
Cmon man you can seperate the real from the dummies already. |
if you roll your mouse over the monster it will highlight the monster on the turn bar and gated monster are gray that is pretty easy |
and if there not on the turn bar like in a 3v3? |
Than you can ctrl and right click on it! doh... |
I understand where the OP is coming from. Yes there are several ways of knowing if a creature is gated or not, and I usually say the best way is to pay attention to the match instead of only looking when you hear the beep. But, truth be told, every turn is timed, and if we have to go around ctrl-clicking every unit or so, it's still time wasted, which in some cases (like if you're having connection issues) can be a real problem.
Ultimately it's up to the admins to decide if it's worth making it a bit easier or not. Though, I don't think demons deserve to have that little bit of advantage taken from them. |
