Roulette as a game, in general not this one, is not a 50-50 game, simply because of the existence of 0 and 00.
THis means that if you play long enough, in the end you are bound to lose money.
However, in this server, there is someone who is betting consistently relative small amounts of gold and overall, with 9 000 000 bettings he has managed to make almost 2 000 000 profit.
Given the fact that he has played quite a few times so that the odds laws come into play, I would have to think that there is something wrong with the random number generator... |

You are not on the real roulette.
And any random number generator has some algorithm(hope I spelld it right), so a person with high mathematic skills and statistics can find that algorithm and win once in a while. |
Since I know quite a few things about RNG being a computer engineer, I can reassure you that although RNGs do have an algorithm, it is quite impossible to break it unless you have the resources of CIA/FBI combined.
And I highly doubt that.........

| Well you can use the time to initialise the random number generator. But after that RNGs have a repeat cycle of many many many numbers before they start repeating the same ones. |

as i wrote in another thread about the roulette:
Moc-art, the number generator is not the problem.
The reason why people loose more money at real casinos is because they dont have a limit of how much they can bet (else then wallet size).
Another thing that could be done with this ingame roulette to prevent people from following 1 number is:
Increase the ammount of rolls, have rolls every 5th minute. This would make it difficult for people to do anything else then just playing roulette. Not enough time for hunt, quests, battles etc. Also it would be very expensive.
OR
Only have a spin every half an hour, this way people would have to stay up for a couple of days in a row to be able to catch the numbers they are waiting for to come up. |
If the random number generator is good, then there is no way mathematically that a player will be winning after many many bets.

So by SIMPLY guessing it is possible to be winning after 10,20, even 100 bets, but mathematically extremely improbabble (less than 1/1000000000000000) after 1000+ bets. So this is why I wonder how some guys are always upping their gains after so many bets..........
So luck is not the issue here. And the reason people are losing in casinos is that roulette is by definition in favour of the house. So you are not betting on a 50% chance event with odds 1:1 simply because 0 and 00 (green) exist. |
i suppose you can always keep betting on a same colour.
ie: 1st bet 100
if win 100 again. if lose bet 200.
since there are no limits to bet, a person can easily bet abt 7-8 reds in a row before going bankrupt. its not probably for 7-8 non reds to happen in a row i guess. not that it doesnt happen. |

Even the strategy suggested by KZhang will result in a loss at the end, simply because the expected gain by doing this is smaller than the expected loss, that is the amount you need to bet times the pobability that you will go bankrupt by having 100 reds/blacks in a row.
It is mathematically highly improbable (and when I see high I mean VERY high) to win in the long run in roulette.
So the question is, how do guys, not just one, consistently do this here? |
| Ive won quite alot, i do not follow any "rules" nor using mathematic, its just plain luck, sometimes iam bankrupt, sometimes i gain alot of money. Simple as that. |
