it would be really nice if the mana for magic arrow was increased from the menial 5 points, to 9 points...
i'm a necro and when facing wizards i know i haven't a chance.
i sit there and take a few moves,then when it's the wizard heroes turn i don't even have to think about what they are gonna do.. i say"magic arrow" and as if by magic here come a magic arrow....
magic arrow costs 5 points of mana...resseructing my ghost costs 9 points.. they use 1 magic arrow and my ghost is useless, so i ressurect..then next time it's the wizard heroes turn i get another magic arrow up my rear end...
there's no point fighting them as i don't have a fighting chance... it's one of the most powerful magic attacks i have seen and it costs a measly 5 points of mana...
now what if we all had magic arrow? then we could all just defend are creatures and throw magic arrows at each other..
i suppose it would be slightly boring though....
anyway to sum up.. if something is not done about this i am quitting this game....
yes i might be a necromancer and bring troops back to life, but what is the point if they get knocked back down after 1 attack...
i was getting into this game, and was going to buy lots of diamonds and work on enchantment skills etc... but now i'm not bothering, i'll spend my hard earned money on a different game where we all have a chance of winning,instead of going into a fight knowing your going to lose... |

From your battle log with the Thief wizard, I think the problem is less about magic arrows than his 54 * 20hp +27 defense enchanted gargoyles. In those ambushes against diamond bought units, it more often than not feels like getting nailed to the wall and getting hammered until you're dead. Anyhow, people donating 100 euro on this was supposed to have more fun right? even if that fun was at the expense of the non-payers... |

Gee, 192 skeletal bowmen for level 8 Necro (with level 7 race skill) is not enough and you still want necromancy for others Necro's creatures?

the point of this post was to say that"magic arrow is too cheap on the mana"
didn't want to get dissed or anything, i wanted some ppl to say "yes,magic arrow is very cheap at only 4 points of mana" sorry i said it was 5 points..
i thought it was...now 4 points of mana for magic arrow is even worse :) |
Cape of winds reduce damage taken from magic arrow by 25%. Also if you get lvl 5 on wiz faction you will get another 15% reduction. And arts to increase spell power are extremely expensive.
I hardly can win against necro and I have 15% damage reduction from them. |
oh well i must be too weak then.... moderators plz close this thread now everyones telling me off.. especially all the wizards that rely on magic arrow because it's deadly and cheap :) |
