Looked at a battle from CMEPTB and its just insane, i thought monsters was supposed to walk further and further to prevent this kind of kiting.

1) This area of the forum is for complaints against players whose behavior does not conform to the rules.
2) There is nothing untoward in the behavior of CMEPTB to warrant this attention, at least not as evidenced by this battle.
3) Monsters head towards the biggest threat. They do not exhibit tactical planning like a human would. Moving a unit around the battlefield, or placing a decoy, is a viable tactic, and not against the rules. |
I already know all of that.
I read somewhere that enemy mobs where supposed to get more movement as time passed to avoid this type of "tactic", thats also why i posted in the complaint forum. |

It works. >_>
If you take a look at the speed of the Modern Golems in that fight, they start with a speed of 4. At the end of the combat they have speed 6.
Also, I'm moving this to Tech-issues... I could also lock it at your request. ;) |

ok thx, mm, they do increase slightly, but obviously not enough to prevent this sort of "tactics" |
Well... This is the fastest creature available (Shrew - Speed 8, Initiative 16 + bonuses from hero) against the one of the slowest in the game (Speed 4, Initiative 7).
It's every 10th turn it increases btw, so if that battle had started it's 31st turn the Golems would have had a speed of 7. |
