That is a problem we've all encountered. It makes the game extremely unfair and kills the fun.
To solve this problem, I think all the heroes should make an pact to kill ONLY the artifacted guy. Meanwhile, the heroes on the team of the artifacted guy should agree to NOT HIT anybody, until the artifacted guy dies.

| i doubt the teammate of the guy that wore arts will agree. they rather win than take a chance to lose |
| if i didn't lose skeletons when i lost a duel,i would happily sit there and let the guy with the arts die, as i'm not the one losing durability on a weapon or armour,but as it is i can't afford to keep losing skeletons because a coward was wearing arts when he/she was asked not to.. |

i have for now twice nuked my own teammate and not helping him because he entered a no arts battle with arts or 2nd upgrade,
o especially hate the sorry escusses, but then, it learns them to read better next time.
problem stays that normally they get away with it nice and easy because their own team does not want to lose.
but well, who cares about losing or winning if it does not cost ye durability on your artifacts????? |

it is technically not breaking the rules, but then, so is stone spiking your own team,
it is all about respecting others wishes, and if someone on my team comes with arts or ups in a battle where it was stated as the wish of the challenger not to, then it is my wish for the offender to die horribly (in game that is) |

Well this is an old topic but can't help but to put my two cents in (not that many will care lol).
Simple fact is arts are there to be used. Personally I don't generally join no arts battles, because I prefer to use everything at my disposal. On the odd occasions that I do join it's when I believe I have a fair chance of winning without arts.
But I don't condemn those who ignore the 'no arts' tag either, they're simply taking every advantage to secure a victory. Yeah it's dishonest and underhanded, but this game is very much dog-eat-dog by nature. Those who take every advantage are going to come out on top more often than not.
This games be around long enough now that the devs would've included a no arts checkbox for creating challenges, if they hadn't meant for players to use them when they have access to them. |
