I saw an artifact bonus as +2 attack and +1 def. but what profit will i have after equipping them?
Would they increase my troops damage or my heroes damage.

| They will improve your attack and def ratings of the hero. By doing so the stats of your troops will also be improved with the same amount. |

Well of course damage range doesn't change - but the amount of damage does.

Defence doesn't affect the hero, but everything your hero is wearing affects the troops, so def isn't useless. |
