Dear players,
Today we would like to announce improvements on HWM combat graphic shell. We believe that the following eye-gratifying changes will make your combats gain new, impressive visual look:
-yet more detailed animation of all units;
-neutral movements of creatures while waiting;
-new spell animation;
-dynamic shadows of all battlefield objects;
-unique landscape texture for every combat;
-new battlefield decorations.
You can preset the graphic settings that fit you most at your personal settings page.
If you experience problems with productivity, we recommend to un-check the High graphic settings and Shadows in combat.
You may also try to experiment with displaying types, choosing between bitmapped and vector graphics. The former type ensures smooth unit models and mild movements; it requires greater operative memory. The latter one is exigent to processor power; it ensures a sharper look of all objects.
The combats have been shifted from Flash v7 to v8; if you have an old version of Flash installed, you will need to update it by following this link.
The first combat loading might take some more time than usual.
