You should see the AI attacking huts instead of the enemy big stack of shooters :)))
I advise you to take an AI that has the same build as you, defensive or offensive. And bait the enemy to come close to them. |
Absolute grindfest in min AP grace set with defensive build of cheap meaty troops, but easy.

Can normally hit auto fairly early, and no real thought needed.
Takes away any enjoyment from tactical nuance

I don't see much scope for farming in this event.
I have 3 stacks of gnoll shamans that I think cannot be replaced.
So I only need to max 4 stacks, which doesn't require too much grinding. |
Yeah, was getting bored, so put on better arts and went through the next levels a bit quicker and lost some. Came down to less troops than max, teammate suiciding through storm cloud, and fiends just jumping around doing rather too much damage.
Ho hum, back to grinding it to make sure I have max army. |
There should've been an option to sell a particular amount of creatures not sell everything at once, so frustrating
Also, archer towers are back from level 40 onwards |

This could have been a nice event had there been any activity in the server.
Whole night I've kept looking for a decent human partner for 50 (castle battle where AI sucks).
And nope, can't find in the normal search.
There are also barely any mercenaries to help people below the latest day. Again, product of low activity.

Some people find the event hard so it takes time for them to get past it. Also it is probably night time or morning time for most so you should expect less people to be doing it. Some people (like me) are already probably sick of the event so once they are done they don't bother being mercenaries. Then there are those that are sick of losing mercenaries where people have weird armies.
Yes, could also be attributed to lower activity but I've doubts about that one :D |
It's incredibly profitable to be a mercenary.
Guild points are low, but money is high.
I'm sure if more people played the game, getting a 90% assist from someone who's cleared all fights would be super easy. |
