Author | Someone is buying all mercury!!! |
Welcome to the free market - lol |
A little of topic but it depends on the route you are taking and the server time (how many players online) probably 1 ambush to 10 walks, but I'm not so sure, could be more, could be less. |

i think you got it yourself. In real life, I don't mind buying marked up price because going to a factory to pick up just one kind of item and then to another to pick another item and so on and so forth would totally suck major hind. The supermarket cuts the logistical hassle.
In this game, travelling is easy as a few clicks and you don't buy usually buy so many different items in one go, why should we pay more so that we save maybe I dunno, 3-5 clicks?
it's saving travel time, shift end wait time, struggling to get what the facility produces. saves a lot |

That shift end wait time may not even be there if resource snatchers aren't there. Only travel time would be left |

whether you like it or not XD
I have to say, it's a funny argument to watch :) I just hope I won't get beaten by both sides :P |
since i'm level 6 i travelled at least a hundred of times.
i have been ambushed...0 times ^_^
ambushes are a bad argument for me :p |

You're already taking a side dear, beware. Everyone's growing an extra set of teeth now.
And yes, 'whether you like it or not' indeed. |
Now a little bit of mathematics - buying a piece of mercury for 370 gold and selling it for 400 is only like 9% extra and not 30%.
it was an exemple, it's puropose was to compare Frank's attitude and fusei's attitude, and to show that it's the same thing.
30%, 9%, 50%, 1%, it don't matter. |
30%, 9%, 50%, 1%, it don't matter.
To you, maybe - but to majority of players it's all that matters. |
for RagingBear:
there won't be resources anyways unless more people start working there. The only reason that the mercury is not on the same level with sulfur is because it is more wanted all around the game world. most of armor needs it, most of armor needs nickel to be produced or magic powder, and all those things need mercury. the only reason there isn't enough of it is because there isn't enough being made.
I bet if the sulfur at the yellow lake will be switched with the lab at the blooming glade, much more people would be working there, and suddenly the whole thing will be resolved. speaking of which - right now in order to enroll to work at the sulfur dune, you HAVE to buy sulfur from it, in order for them to be able to pay your wage.
just thinking to myself - how come people are still working at the sulfur dune? i mean it's just a 3 minute walk from the lab at the blooming glad. so i guess people prefer to buy the sulfur and work, rather than spend 3 minutes walk for a free enrollment.
anyways, i'm writing to much - my point is - if more people would work there, more mercury would be available. and even if still merchants would buy it all off, there still will be more competition, and the prices would be lower. but the problem starts and ends with not enough people working there |

I tend to stand watch and ambush people, and the only time i passed through, dear shebali ambushed ME! but not every ambush means an straight loss and fail. |
i thought it is because yellow lake have MG. |

Correct, but merchants do not help and take advantage of the situation at the expense of innocent people.
Also, it is unfortunate that lab workers don't get special treatment and get paid more -.-. Obviously, the one game mechanics flaw is that the wages do not follow the average market price but follows an arbitrary value. |
dear shebali ambushed ME!
You actually remebrer these things? I had to browse through combat log =)
And yeah, not every ambush means an straight loss and fail The key to success - enchanted fullart XD |

as soon at it is superior than 0%, it is too much for me.
it's not because i can't afford it, it's because i don't accept to be stolen by other players.
why should i spend more to buy an item, because someone had a faster click than me at the shift end?

Might as well start bashing Empire now =) |

i usually tend to check the person I get ambushed by :) or the person i ambush. and it wasn't so long ago to forget that a mod ambushed me :)
i thought it is because yellow lake have MG.
that's why i think that if the 2 facilities switch places, everything will be different.

why should they NOT take advantage ? if I'd go all the way to blooming glade and wait 'till end of the shift, and on the last 20 seconds start refreshing like a maniac, just to get 20-40 mercury at the second it's there, just so that the "innocent people" get the chance to buy it the moment they open the market page and save all the trouble, why shouldn't I get paid the lousy 9% for it ?
and more than that, I'm suggesting how to make it cheaper for all, but people just complain and call us names. |
pff, miscklick, sent the message while writting it :(
end of message 96:
if an item costs 369 gold at facility (for exemple), and if i wasn't fast enough to buy it at the shift end, i will accept to pay 369 gold at market, but not 370.
i will not offer any gold piece to a player that stole other players by buying items he don't needs, to resell them. |

Your profile mentions of raising market prices by cooperating with other salesmen! That's a conspiracy against the public >_<
I can at least accept your argument of being the person to 'help' us get hold of resources as it is plausibly a necessary evil given the situation but actually cooperating with other salespeople to raise prices?! YOU.....
nvm forget it -.- |
