So he made around 160k in 4 days.
That would take me at least around 2 months to make, enrolling at least 494 times with my current laborers' guild.
160k * 6 = 1.080k
So about 3000 enrolls more to be able to bargain for a TGI.
And 2 * 6 = 12, and 12 months is a year .
So it'd take me a year to make that much money, not accounting arts and castle upgrades, etc.

Totally agree.
Due to them, there's a player who is getting reacher and reacher and reacher etc.
I'm not complaining with reseller player, they are shrewd. Simply people have to be more clever and sell it by their own. |

There are really 3 types of people who do this:
1. They really don't know the true value.
2. They prefer selling to friend or clanmate that will actually use the TGI instead of reselling.
3. Money laundering. An extra 50k gold on ore is suspicious (also you can't undersell ore by 50k all that easily). |

I believe the 4th type makes up a huge majority -
Selling to a ready buyer for instant gold.
Putting in the market at a higher price, means it may take a few days, maybe even weeks/month, to sell. Selling to a ready buyer means instant gold, and thus eliminate the uncertainty of - "When will it get sold and I get the gold?" |

if you guys thing he should stop that, then people who buy arts, resources, elements and sell them in market for profit needs to be stopped aswell.

The amount of gold earned by resellers of TGI is huge but as a percent of TGI price it is usually not more than 10%.
I suppose that now such process seems very profitable and not very risky but it may happen that TGI price will start dropping and person that bought it for 1,07kk may have it very difficult to sell it for higher price. Just look at TG set items, the prices are falling from at least a month and some items are now cheaper by 20-30%.
Also some resellers have built their opinion and have network of contacts. Not every player would be able to buy and sell TGI so often and make turnover so quickly.
Players that now buy TGI with gold, have mostly earned huge part of it while it was easier because of Laborers Guild different levels. Now TGI price is 3 times higher while labour rates are lower. Such state is in my opinion temporary.
Gold is the king and I think that we gonna see deflationary trends in the game. |

It's all about supply and demand. The demand for TG items is low, and the supply is pretty high, so naturally the price decreases. There are very few TGIs bouncing around, and the demand is high enough for the prices to stay the same. |

Yes now the demand is high as many players made getting the TGI as one of main game aims. Also as far as many players can remember, TGI price only was going up and 1,1k price level may seem a bargain. If the price start dropping, many may consider postponing the moment of purchasing TGI what will make prices to go go down quicker.
I think that secont auction of 10 TGI made by Empire would be a very strong argument for changing the trend/price level for TGI, if such auction ever happen again.
Otherwise I think the price may stay on 1kk level for months to come. |
I think in 10-15 days I'll reach lvl 5 and get my own TGI, I'll see what's his offer :)

The problem with TGI resellers (The one who does it purely for profit) is their methods is similar to monopolistic companies. Their is so few TGI available that they can control the marked, and exploit the people who desperately wants to become a thief.
Even though it is legal, I see it as a cold hearted business that hurts the community on this server. |
| like others said the market is another battlefield. you dont show mercy on a battlefield you do what you need to in order to win. i for one am jealous of TGI resellers but i understand that it makes a lot of gold and if i could do it as well as they could i would and make a bundle. i know a lot of people probably dont like them but if they were to suddenly have the option of becoming TGI resellers and make that much gold many of them would. |

Many have the option and choose not to, just because you can do something, don't mean that you have to do it. And the gold does not magical appear it comes from the sweat of others |
