No choice. If you have no way of doing anything for the server (donate), the least you can do is amuse yourself and others in the process! XD
There are many ways one to do something for the server, and I wasn't referring to donating when I made that post.
If you can donate, by all means, do so. If you can't, there are other ways to 'help' the server.
- You can try to bring friends etc. I know of at least 2 groups of players, one from the same school, the other from the same internet cafe, who got many players into this game. Each group have about 20-30 players.
- Advertise the game in whatever way you know how. Game forums in your country, facebook, twitter, whatever.
If you try, you may or may not get anyone to join the game, but if you don't, 100% guarantee you won't. Just like many things in life.. at least TRY.
- Keep the morale of existing players here high.
What is the point of a player bringing 3 new players to join us, but on the same day, another player is whining away in the forums, and 3 existing players get demoralized and leave us?
And what will posting complains after complains in the forums do? The admins will suddenly decide to bring us tons of updates tomorrow? Have already ahve 100s, if not 1000s, of such doom and gloom threads, did it do anything?
Nothing. Zit. Zero. Nada. Seriously..
When the updates and events come, they'll come. Posting in forums won't change an iota of what's gonna happen as far as updates and events are concern.

Oh yeah since the world would be a better place if you let people stay ignorant of their faults, flaws and mistakes.
Guess university and school system would work much better if they gave pupils and students just best marks and anyone can be a teacher without need for qualifications.
Who needs critical comments when it's so much better to never say anything critial and just praise whenever whereever.

Like I said, feedback is good but talking about players leaving is kinda pointless and counterproductive. Players leave all the time, really. Game is kinda slow, sure, and I'm pretty sure that's the reason why some leave but I suspect that the sluggish game pace is just to ensure that people who have real lives (and jobs) can be on equal footing with basement dwellers who are online all the time but have no real hope of donating. I don't really know! XD
What I want to say is that some of complaints that we hear is probably because some players consider some game features as faults instead of treating them as fundamental game mechanics to be worked with. I don't think the admins would cut the labor guild bonuses or add the equipment requirement to battles if they didn't have good reasons. Threads like this tend to snowball into a big mess of complaints that may discourage some new players... |

There was a time when they were dwarven wars and 1 level ahead. Now they are already 2 max levels ahead, not to mention dozens of updates, items, and of course dwarven wars.
Why do you care about not having level 16 and 17 and high level items on .com ?
Should I have to remind you that you are "only" level 10 ?
Then I've you participated in the dwarf event on .ru ?
I've not but maybe there's a reason such as event needs higher level players

Something negativ is not equal nothing.
There are valid points of view in this topic (for example ZioBlade's or Shagan's postings) which are beyond pure whining out of reasons of greed.
Jedi, does it do anything if you remind people of staying patient and put their efforts into making this server a better place themselves?
This complain topics aren't all made by people who want full service all the time and expect the admins to come to their hometown and wash their dishes.
As we all know there is still no communication with the admins and it's completely their fault that this server is so stagnante. And from time to time you just want to talk about this, if you have put some effort in this game.
And maybe some day an admin actually reads it and makes up his mind if there is something we and admins can do together. ;)

Criticizing, in general, can actually change things unlike doing/saying nothing which will have absolutely no effect naturally... And since negative things do exist not talking about them serve only for pretenses.
On this particular case of course both seem ineffective (surely have been so long), just hope Arctic comes back sometime in the future or admins change their mind in a science fiction way! |

1.) Dwarven wars on Rus servers were made with people of level 14 as far s I remember so we are well beyond this point.
2.) If amount of players is a problem just adjust the fights with numbers? It's not hard.
3.) What does my level have anything to do with my valid criticsm? And besides getting level 10 is something which already requires a lot of time it's not like gettin level 10 is easily done over night.
Typical of many players here resorting to ad hominem attacks and avoiding to adress the valid points
I can understand that a lot of players do not like such discussions. Keeping the status quo is so much easier and comforable than changing something especially when you are among those who got everything the (relatively) easy way back at start when a lot of restrictions and limitations weren't there in the first place.
I bet a lot of those high level players here who'd have to restart completely anew without any contacts and access to resources and loans would actually critizise the same things players like Nutella adressed albeit they aren't affected by it as much. |

A few days ago I quit...unfortunately for me this server is dead.
I often wanted to playing but I have not found anyone to fight in GB/Pvp.sad.
Whether we admit or not this server will be closed in the near future. |

i would say, admin suppose and should hide their update agenda. reveal only if the update is coming within afew days/weeks. as you can see, admin had respond on some suggestion like new faction, artifacts and other idea in next update in IaS.
everyone just use this lame excuse to attack the admin for lack on update on forum. yet, all those destructive topics on forum kill the morale of the community.
like Jedi said, not even those popular online game like WoW would have update frequently.

As to the dwarven wars argument, it was a general argument as to why there is a overall decrease in population and I know a few high level players who are disappointed that the dwarven wars have not happened yet to varying degree.
And even if I could not participate there are more than enough who could and would die to be able to not mentioning finally war clans making sense or what is the current benefit of a war clan at the moment?
And why were the thief initation pizes not adjusted to a reasonable amount which every player can achieve with some dedicated saving after they removed the TG 4 invitation last year?
You think paying 80 euros is reasonable? For such a low amount of work compared to fully priced games who cost half as much in stores and cost 1000 times more for development, 80 euros is a reasonable price to access an actually important aspect of the game because as you and everyone else should know inititative is a very important stat and getting another optioto get artifacts which can yield a lot of gold or help you saving gold by using it is an immense advantage. On top of thatay game in a store gives me full access to every aspect of the game bar gimmick features like pets or collectors editions or an armor or 1-2 weapons which are mainly fancy gadgets nothing else.
And just an advice at this point, if you got a problem as admin with player critism you should stop being an admin because you are clearly not fit for it.
Someone in a design leading position must be able to take critism with a neutral approach. Being able to 'take the heat' is a term which exists for a reason. If you get angry by that you oviously cannot 'take the heat' and either you need to learn to do it or you should stop doing it.
Of course some critism might not be warranted or is not perfectly valid but that is no reason to look down on these people unless they start being insultive and abusive but funnily so far the people critizising appoached this thread with a very calm and civilized approach unlike players like you who resort to insults mainly because they cannot accept that players can have different opinions and feelings about the game.
And no, of course my ideas, concerns and points of views are not perfectly valid, they are my subjective feelings about the game but unlike you I do not insult players who have a different opinion nor do I say their opinion does not count. That argument is so stupid it's not even funny anymore.
And if you'd care to look my profile up you'd see that beside playing DE on this one and wizard I also play a low level demon alt and started a Nec albit I do not have the time to cater all 3 characters equally so this one remains my main while the others are aimed to max CL ~7
Besides I am sure if I'd check the top 100 very few players will have decent FL with every faction. So when are people allowed to have an opinion? CL 5? All factions at 12? Millions of Gold and hundreds of resoures? Gold in hunts and tournaments? Come on, I'd like to know now when you think someone should be allowed to post cirtizism here, I'd die to hear more about censorship. Usually shows the real character of a person.
In the end I wanted to add, I like this game and I will continue to play it. I have not played a single game multiplayer or single palyer which I could say was perfect from my point of view and tehre were always stuff which I did not like much but I do realize many people have different opinions on what is good and what is not. I just do not discriminate people of a different opinion.
