expert defense tactics fury barb? ignore 1038, boars hit 779, fly ogres to hit bottom stacks, cyclops 1+2 kill 5 to open up bottom for ogres, |
I think the difficulty has ramped up, and so roughly 27 onwards I think the 3rd battle is likely to be tough
At this stage I think with less battles remaining, the stat you get should take lower priority than your perception of success. Ie if you are not sure you will win the one with the better stat, but are for the other one, then do the other one).
I presume most people decide based on the stat gained, though for arcancide replace with wg points! |

mine, at 33-1. A good tanky unit at the end is always welcomed (and best gear, ofc). GL! |

Thank you both for the suggestions. Didn't try the fury barb idea since most of my bonuses are for attacks. It may not be sufficient to pull off. Tried the DE idea but didn't work out. Went back to my favorite TDE and it worked.

Nice event, if I would expect very close at the top in the end. Extra annoyed since I lost one early on when being a cheapo and using grace arts instead of decent ones, then the last battle as well when I ignored a stack of only 7 that cast mass rapid which then meant the multiple stacks of spirits of the forest got an awful lot more damage in. When I killed that sooner in the next battle it was a comparatively straight forward battle.
Still 3 losses will be alright, just shame when minor adjustments would have made it only 1. I guess though that this is true of everyone who lost battles, only minor tweaks would have changed it. The trick is to not need to make them.
Next time... |
Yeah I would prefer that the difficulty and points reduce on the *second* battle loss, not the first. |
for Dire Khaoz:
I'm fine with that, were that to be the case with the difficulty level of this event, you would have probably 1000 people with joint equal first place.
While it would be nice, it ceases to effectively differentiate and reward the most successful.
I prefer it to be easier in general, but more punitive for you to lose. Thus reducing the frustration of losses and repeat battles which increase the grind and reduce the reward, while still effectively separating out those whom were most successful. |
This format discourages experimentation.
There are so many builds I wanted to try, made possible with the extra stats, that I didn't have the courage to because every loss had a cost. |
Finish everything with mirror. |
The gold reward for this event is pathetic :( |
15 battles a day to much. screw this |
Pepehands |
105 wins in 11 days is not that bad. Especially because there were few losses, you don't have to average more than 10 events fights per day. |
mos def dont want to do 11 battles of events each day |
Isn't this near the low end for events? |
Less good per battle, but likely less losses needed to compensate for. Also better gold generally than getting the equivalent guild points in the normal way |
Yea, this event was longer than usual |
Dont get me wrong this is my favorite event atm. Just dont want to do 105battles |
Yeah, this event is a hard one to catch up on. If you try to do 30+ battles in a row, you will inevitable lose focus along the way and have 1 or two losses (as I did). |
Previous events I had to do like 180 battles to complete them this was comparatively much better already |
