I'd have thought templars are more situationally useful for against undead. Huns seem solid, but would think other troops are often better overall |
Thanks for the replies! |
Huns have 14 ini, bravery, ignore def, and an extremely low leadership to health ratio (less than 5 leadership per health).
They're ludicrously overpowered, but people haven't caught on yet. As a non-donation troop, I expect heavy nerfs soon. |
Looking at your battle log I can see what you mean, I was concerned that their damage output was not great as when they have been a troop in some events they were a bit underwhelming, but with high ini and constant 3 morale they are going to hit a lot and with 53 or so troops that gives reasonable output. As you say however it is a gamble as unlike donation troops their value will get adjusted with overall use. Perhaps if enough people use donation troops they will not see a drop, though not sure I'm willing to spend 600k with that chance.
For context if you do the numbers 600k for an epic attack is similar to what you would expect to get if you spent the same amount of gold on the chests and were able to upgrade all the troops you would get(which of course would not happen). And then even if you did it would be a random troop which as lots if the time would not be useful. So perhaps the cost is less bad than it appears at face value. |
Note, do check what the creature talents are, do not look, think they are on a horse therefore will charge, they may be a shooter

82 is trickier than at first appearance. Obviously with the portal or whatever in the corner it is trickier to make full advantage of lizards, this is made worse by the fact it has ini of 15, so spews out troops quick, further blocking positions.
Gnolls is the way to go I think

Here's a cheaper way:

Thanks
A cheaper way requiring 2 troops I do not own. I was also presenting a way that would work for the majority. Indeed with a central position the lizard and stranger sailors may work as have more sites around it, but for me then corner position made it tougher |

Fear not sirens at level 92 - defile magic from goblin shamans means they cannot cast.
7 will definitely do it, though maybe only 4 is needed (this is if they round up which is consistent with how they normally do it, just didn't want to risk it myself) |

Fully expect to drop lots though happy enough. Certainly profitable and much more interesting to do all battles without looking any builds up or anything like that. Level 99 was pretty tricky I though. |

I hope I'll rank <1500... |
Anybody can look through my top LeG troops and suggest some workable combos as a low LeG player aiming to mostly just auto lowest difficulty? currently running invaders, hobs and murderers to quite good results but I'm afraid it wont last and I'm really lost to what the current meta is |
for cyberclops:
I would use
Infiltrators and Turncoat Warmages against enemy heroes with low amount of troops.
Water elemental's are a favorite target for AI, so use them when you want the AI to focus on something other than your main damage dealers.
Poltergeists do decent damage and have low AI priority. They can be your end game unit. |
for cyberclops:
I can not see all your brown troops in your profile.
But I can comfort you, that for easy level you're good to go until the end of event with your composition (if you have bought LeG lvl 9 for 20.000 gold of course). Hobs could be replaced with goblins and invaders could be replaced with thunderheads.
Some other options:
Sprites/Dryads/Faeries are good vs. summoning buildings which have low initiative
Gargoyles/Zombies/Ench Gargoyles are good vs. poison or magic |
Not too bad. And surely profited from the event :D

You can verify your profit on daily if you input all your battles there. |
if you have bought LeG lvl 9 for 20.000 gold of course
thx for the advise I normally dont buy LeG levels for events but since this event so easily auto-able, I realized that buying LeG 9 and auto-ing actually saved me more money then trying to do it slowly with LeG 5 and having tight fights every round |
if you input all your battles there
Good to know. But too much work for a lazy player like me :D |
