| So basically a free tournament.. you have to do nothing other than enlisting, and can get gold reward as well as imperial parts + achievement for winning. |

I thought that, though if you face undead and elementals, they will suck.
I think there will be no such thing as a universally better army in this, too many possible oppositions. Its about playing your odds and putting together one that you think will beat most oppositions. Shame I have no ladons.
AI is not great for some troops and combinations, high hp will help, as will no retaliation, but the trade off of damage, versus HP etc is tricky to judge. I think common troops will get a lot more play than with normal, many of them price wise are pretty decent, but obviously do not normally get used due to not being able to be resurrected. |

| one of my armies would eat those infiltrators for breakfast, the others maybe less so. Certainly will be interesting when we see the battles. I wonder if they will prevent others from watching, otherwise the Meta will update very very quickly and cease to be about who can invent things themselves, but how good you are at copying other people. |
In the Sunny city cup it is out of 256 people with a prize pool of 512k, about 2.3 times less than this one.
As such the prizes for each win should be about 2.3 times bigger
That means first round win, gets 2k, then approx double for each victory after this (depending upon whether they reward for winning a round or for each battle)
so I think it should be
1st round win = 1172
2nd round win = 2344
3rd round win = 4688
4th round win = 9375
5th round win = 18750
quarter final = 37500
semi final = 75000
Champion = 150000
So, 1 in 256 of us will be getting a cool 300k, I hope it's me! |

I will if they face them and win, and I will if they face them and lose, though I may need a good helping of humble pie with that one.
I have a rather meaty undead army tis all in one slot.no poison damage and AI uses infiltrators rather badly. Sure they may have lots of def for the first hit, but not the second. |

I would not be so sure on that, it is certainly not clear however since we have not got any results yet to gain clarity. Fair enough get in quick if that is what happens, but let's not pre empt it and pretend it's a forgone conclusion |
