Now looking at this, it depends on where do you live, but it seems its easier to WORK for few days and buy the TGI with diamonds.. |
Buying TGI with diamonds is unaffordable for many players because:
1) they haven't access to any means of payment (like a credit card) for example because they're too young
2) 80ˆ for an abstract item in a flash game is an insane expense in most parts of the world, no matter how "powerful" this item is.
Gold-based TGI seems expensive, but the cost is paid through game gold - a fake currency whose only real cost is time (time spent enrolling).
If you can, enroll, enroll a lot, gather gold slowly, and buy a TGI after months of regular play (if you didn't drop it meanwhile). And if you get fed up, imagine how disappointed you'd feel had you spent 80ˆ instead! |
Imagine each time you gather enough gold to buy a TGI, someone gives you 80 euro. It would be worth the deal. |

If only game gold could be converted to euros!! But it doesn't work that way ;) |
mercenaries guild can help u to get money
i lost 50k in roulette
i cant even buy wolf at level 8 nor arts
after selling my all resources i got nearly 1M broght wolf and good arts from it |
but it seems its easier to WORK for few days and buy the TGI with diamonds..
+.
Better not to risk...Admins can find for what to ban :) TGI buying could be easier , if on this server was good economy system , but with ~1k online - it is impossible.... |

i didn't say i was going to do it. i already have a TG entry :) i leased it before the update |
If you can get 330k in one month - why don't you wait 2-3 months and than pay the TGI?
Just a small hint:
Even at the highest LG you would need to enroll 11 times a day.But that would mean that you are manage to enroll each time at the best factory and since you need time and money to fight against the workaholic penalty, you better stay each day 18 hours awake to mange all that.
And keep in mind that can only work if already have the highest LG. That would mean 12,000 times to enroll first - if we stay at the same rate, this can be done in 9 months than Around 1,000 times to enrolle in 3 monthes only and you have your TGI.
BTW: 12,000 times 175 is 2,100,000 - enough for around 2 TGIs. :)
Archmage +1 :P |
Imagine each time you gather enough gold to buy a TGI, someone gives you 80 euro. It would be worth the deal.
Now would it? 1600 hours of enrollment, well, thats 0.05 euro for each enroll. 5 Cents per hour(similar work of what watchman does)..thats a pretty third world wage. |

i heard that after the update, .ru now has a facility selling diamonds 15k/apiece. |

I sincerely hope that you are aware that, after entering the enroll code, you don't have to watch the facility screen for a full hour. |
you don't have to watch the facility screen for a full hour.
hahaha thats funny!
back to topic: you all should do 1 battle and 10 enroll to earn money if you really want to save gold to get TGI
yes..may be i don't have the right to post my opinion here because i got my TGI by renting from someone long time ago..but look at this..a poor guy like me still can save a sum of money to get a thief dagger that 4x10%..i do this couple months ago..so i save 800k in 2 months and i manage to get 1 enchanted item..
somemore i always do 1 battle and 10-12 enroll every time..so i can't see the reason why you guys can't save gold for TGI..if you hardworking enough..you will reached your target at one day..just don't complain or whine about the TGI price |

The problem is that your advice only works for the individual. If suddenly 10x the # of players started enrolling a lot saving over million gold each, then won't TGI prices skyrocket as a result? :)
Want lower TGI prices? Encourage others to enter TG via diamonds. |
Want lower TGI prices? Encourage others to enter TG via diamonds.
Not really. Others may not have the ˆ to get diamonds. And even if they do, it's not likely (especially when wages are shafted, making fighting in full arts even more expensive) that they'll reach TG level 5 and unlock an Invitation.
I fear there's no way of decreasing TGI price. |
My idea is pretty much the only effective way players as a whole can decrease TGI prices (or reduce the potentially higher prices).
Let's say this time next year TGI prices reach X gold.
But if today we can convince 100 (or some other significant number) players to enter into TG via diamonds, then this time next year TGI prices would be reduced from X gold by Y gold.
How does this reasoning work?
1.) Those players would not use gold to buy TGIs to enter into TG. Less buyers equate to lower prices.
2.) When/if those players reach TG5, then they can sell their TGIs. More TGIs equate to lower prices.
Thus the following is irrelevant:
Others may not have the ˆ to get diamonds.
obviously encouraging someone who can't buy diamonds is moot; you have to encourage those are able
wages are shafted
ceteris paribus (if everything else stays constant) more TG diamonds users lead to lower TGI prices.
Also assuming increased TG diamond users won't affect admin implementions of game changes, then anything that lowers TGI demand or increases TGI supply would decrease TGI prices.
Which situation is better for lower TGI prices?
a.) wages get shafted
b.) wages get shafted + increased 100 TG diamond users
I fear there's no way of decreasing TGI price.
There are many things that could affect TGI prices. TGI prices could decrease as easily as they can increase. |
i think the admins should allow thief invitation renting for 2-3months |

Kotrin keeps a TGI :))
for Pantheon: U right
TGI prices will decrease, but we don't know when. There is not a TGI has been sold for a long time (about 2 weeks) except the TGI has been sold for price 1M (it is Caligulax's). I know many people who want to buy TGI but they don't want to pay over 1M for TGI even millionaires. Most of they wait until the price is lower. |
Pantheon, I respectfully disagree with you. I think you considered the problem from the wrong direction.
TGI price is the result of offer and demand (so far everybody will agree :)
You are right, if you convince 100 people to buy TGI with ˆ instead of game gold, the number of people in need of a TGI will decrease by 100, more or less. But in my opinion this number is a drop of water in the ocean.
Demand is huge and offer is scarce. It's highly unlikely that anyone may affect demand by a margin sufficient to have a real effect on market price. Perhaps game admins selling TGI for 60ˆ instead of 80ˆ for a limited time could trigger such a situation, but even then it would last only as long as the bargain.
The real reason behind TGI prices is that sellers have no incentive to sell at all. No one needs selling his TGI. Sure, all TGI holders are here to make some money, when you're a thief keeping a TGI serves no purpose. But why selling in a rush for a bargain price when you have nothing to lose waiting? The space taken by a TGI in one's inventory is hardly a trouble :)
The only time were TGI prices fell to the ground was during the release of Estate Auctions previous year. Note that everyone was aware then that the days of two TGI at levels 2 and 4 were over; worse even, people were rushing to get TGI under old terms. So the demand for TGI was very high. But TGI holders had another good reason to sell, they were seriously in need of cash for Estate auctions, to the point of underselling one another on the market. TGI price were as low as 300'000 on the market.
That's ultimately the reason why TGI prices on .com and .ru are different. After the LG changes, .ru TGI holders need money to continue fighting with full arts (somehow pushing prices down) and potential buyers are making far less money from enrolls (also pushing prices down.) But the real reason behind lower TGI prices on .ru is that there are things worth buying over there. Rare artifacts from Wars, medals are precious things, much more valued than a TGI and worth a good amount of gold. The existence of purchase opportunities on .ru are the reason why everyone holding a TGI has a good reason to get rid of it. Not necessarily in a rush, but you get the idea.
Here, people sit on insane amounts of cash with nothing to spend it on. Under those circumstances, it's no surprise no one is eager to sell a TGI at bargain price. And unless we ever get a war event and the rare artifacts associated, it's unlikely to change. |

So what? I even had three TGI at a time, acquired when I had cash to spare and when friends needed money. And contrary to you and your "brother" wizard239, I'm not a grey-market TGI reseller constantly seeking bargain TGI to artificially push prices up on the market. |
