Authorno gold for repair
You are assuming that demand = supply

There's a couple of lvl 8 or 9 smith that practically repairs almost every now and then...
1 hr smith = 4k of gold

So 1 smith takes about 2 magic powder/hr or 48 magic powder per day...
10 lvl 8 or 9 smiths = 480 mp/day

I'm not even counting those tat repair on and off, or mp used in production facilities...

I'm taking magic powder for example because of there's only 1 site and scarce vacanies... Expect it to be hit hard first, followed by gems and crystals...

Multis and players like fusei (sorry for example) will start stocking up resources and sell it high in the market, making resources matters worse... Production facilities will be down because of the scarce mp or resource in facilities, especially magic based items... I guess you didn't go through this period as it is wat actually happened...

It didn't affect me a lot then, as i'm not a magic user... Expect a lot of pple against this, especially wizards and magic DE... I'm sure pple who went through will not like this...

As I say, the idea is good, but from wat I see, the result will be undesirable...

you're probably right .. I do not have all the figures ... but I think admins have ... so, it should not be difficult for them to see what is the rate of smithing in a week, and adjusting mines accordingly ... of course, there is quite some work for the admins to make things balanced, but I think it is feasible and definetely better than today, where you depend on admins to put back gold in the facilities ...

I think your proposal make sense, and I would go even more in that direction making ALL artifacts cost gold AND resources ... so already to buy them in first place you have to pay resources ... and then repairing will be only a part of the gold and of the resources .. for example, if something cost 2000 gold and 3 gems, reparing could cost 600 gold and 2 gems ...or something like this ...

+1 The idea is great to use resources. I agree with the benefit to economy.

It is a fact that repairing should be cheaper than buying a new item which can be solved by this too.(otherwise nothing in the world would have been repaired) of course the repaired one is not like the new one which the durability loss in the game is meant for that. I suggest the lower cost of repairs too.
part gold part cash that way ppl like me who merch resources get their goods bought by ppl who fear gettin anbushed so this may solve the problem but
