i am not saying global warming is fiction but i have NEVER seen ANY proof, but i read and hear 1000 times things like scientist suggest that.. scientists proof that.. blablabla!!!!!!!
so to really convince people, show them the proof instead of telling them that somewhere there is proof.. maybe its hiding under your bed while you sleep? lol ..
carbon dioxide isn't the only greenhouse gas, don't forget the farting cows, do not underestimate them.. sounds silly but as far as i am informed CH4 has a stronger effect than CO2.
good Way to stop War and Hunger and ecological crisis is slowly decrease overpopulation of the planet. thats one thing i like about china (and pls dont say china is so evil because blablabla - i know)
but in the end when we will learn to make less garbage or CO2 per person, what will it help us?
Lets imagine 100 people can live on earth. they make 1000 big bags of crap and waste every year, and they use 1000 pieces of resources. ok now they learn to use less toilet paper and recycle ther resources - and they will produce only 500 bags of crap every ear and use only 500 pieces of resources. everything fine now? but then they make a lot of children. and soon we have 1000 people that produce 5000 bags of crap and use up 5000 pieces of resource every year. this is too much for that big little planet, and they all suffer from it.. and they will start war to fight for the last remaining pieces of resources. already this is happening right now (i resist mentioning some wars which have started lately for resources) .. and it will be worse, because the world is already overpopulated and overpopulation will proceed , while natural resources run low. |
but i agree with the whole concept of reducing pollution and greenhouse effect.(because i assume it esists - dont know for sure)
everyone should try to do something for all hour childrens children.. |
That also means that you can reduce the amount of heat, which was produced by electric items, that increase global warming
I would like to see the physics about how many light bulbs you need to raise temperature of atmosphere by 0.01 degree of Fahrenheit.

As a chemistry teacher who has to teach this over and over again and gets annoyed with the process simply due to endless repition I have seen plenty of evidence for global warming and most probable cause.
The problem is that people like things to be black and white - this definately caaused that. However good science does not provide this, as a good scientist is open to other potential scenarios and so will change the language to saying it will probably cause this etc. So in effect if a scientist says we believe this is happening etc, to most people they would have just said it is and be done with it.
The other problem is the world is a little complex. We like to sit and change just one thing and and measure the effect. Thats impossible on a planet, so we have to compensate , as a result we have to take the certainty away. People don't like uncertainty and so conclude that since they have doubt that they must be wrong. If you think of Global warming as a theory in the same way as gravity is still a theory, its never been proved wrong, but it is still not the fact of gravity, nor will it ever be.
So glbal warming IS happening, and if I could be bothered to teach A-level chemistry on a forum I could give you evidence.
As for what to do. Personally I go for whatever will be will be. I cannot see in any realistic scenario a situation where as a planet we do not use every bit of fossil fuels we have. Therefore this carbon dioxide will end up in the atmosphere. so whatever will happen as a result, will happen. However, we ought to make that last as long as possible to give as much chance as we can to compensate for when we run out.
