Authordo caravans get harder when racial lv up?
er there is a fundamental error in your post, the DE is a lv 7!

i have been thieving with 4 factions now, the caravans do change but the hero stats are the SAME for each combat level.

i didn't bother checking the multipliers given by mti, but they follow a similar pattern.

There are a co-efficients of strength of caravans for factions:
1.0 DE
1.3 Demon
1.4 Barbarian
1.4 Necro
1.6 Elf
1.7 Knight
1.8 Wizard

Arctic then confirmed this is correct.
As for stats: As guru stated stats for caravans are the same for "every" faction at the specific level.

The unit sizes do change and i have seen it myself. As my caravans size became huge when i played elf or demon.

Also if you look at china_blue99 ambushes, when he was DE they were small enough to win in min ap...Now he is elf his caravans arent winnable in max arts.

Now I see, the army of caravans do changes when you change your faction.

But when it's come to the question: Which faction is easier in ambush? There is another factor we need to consider, the power of the faction.

DE is the best faction as thief, not only because it faces less enemy, but also because it kills enemy fast.

On the other extreme side, Wizard is the worst one as thief, because it faces most enemy, but also because nowhere for Garg to hide.

For Knight (the faction I played most), thief job is not that hard (at least before I reach lvl 10 or 11). I guess one reason is it's large army and high defense, so can last long.

Just my opinion, would like to hear more from you. :)

Seems a tad harder than the Demon, but still way below the knight in all category. There might be some truth (of course) in MasterTI's post.

Woah.. so many posts while I was posting my last one. Yeah, have to agree with what binghuo and MasterTI here.

Basically, tought going for wizards and knights, and easier for DEs/Demons. So depending on how you wanna approach TGs, the facts here will make your choice/decision easier.

Easier route to TG points, go DE/Demon. If you want more of a challenge, and likes to beat a game at its highest difficulty, play Knight/Elf, or for the ultimate TG challenge.. go WIZARD!! haha.. :D

The statistics show that we(the wizards and the knights) are the most honest people because we rob better caravans, so they would have higher chance of beating us and it would be more fair that we steal from someone better than us, instead of taking candies from kids! GO WIZARDS, GO, GO!

May I ask.. what levels is this based on? To me it seems like reflecting the difficulties at a very high level.
i want to point out that the knight of the example first encounter that type of barbarian caravan at level 7, https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?lt=-1&warid=11948604 , not at level 8 as jedi-knight claim.

the amount of creatures are in line with the level 7 DE.

Also i tracked my first combat against that carvan, level 7

8 cyclops, 12 chiefs, 6 riders, 14 raiders, 2 ogres and 2 hobs, it'ìs almost a mirror of the level 7 DE,it's certainly not 70% more difficult, at most i would claim it was easier :|

i believe you misinterpreted his Exaxt words :)

he probably meant that what is normally hard for DE is 30% harder for demon. some sort of generalization of how hard it is for a faction to ambush. i am not so sure that numbers of creatures change as you change faction. you would get that same caravan whichever faction you are imo.

but, what's with necro than? i don't think that necros find it easier to ambush than elves...

are you saying that necro has 40% tougher caravan? these are probably the same.

elves aren't so bad

I think efk are the best unit for a caravan, the enemies are all near to each other, you can do a lot of damage

gmb can be great too for strong enemies

uni instead can protect efk from wizard caravans's spells

i think necro and barbain are much worse as ambusher

I always wondered why I saw Hexagram (wizard) fighting 15 monks caravan (you know, the one where stacks of monks around farmer/recruit, so 15 monks per stack) when he was only TGI 2, and I first fought like 7 monks in each stack as demon... O_o so DE really IS way easier for thief... hm, maybe on .ru I should start some DE-ness. :D
