Can someone explain to me what the F this thing does, i thought i would get more faction skill points but that does not seem to be the case

potion of skill brings the faction level of the faction that is currently active to a certain preset level, based on the link above. at level 8, it brings the faction level to 8.
for example, i see you have drank the potion for dark elf. if you were to enter a battle without drinking it, your faction level would be 0. if you entered a combat using dark elf, now your faction level would be 8. you can click twice on your character to see the bolded number beside the faction icon

refer to the faction skill table in the link above to know what bonuses each faction level gives. at level 8, it gives a total of 4 attack, 4 defense and 7 ini for your troop. more stats = stronger troops
P.S is there a way to boost the faction skill points
you can earn additional 10% fsp if you have abu bakir's charm activated or during special events where you can get buns or cookies for a 20% fsp boost. otherwise, some bonus days (such as day of faction, adventurer) also give fsp bonus
