Just leveled up to CL 20 and found the WG battles are mostly impossible now. Is this what to expect?
E.g.: All the enemy troops are more than double their usual amount. Event if the hero is 2 CL lower, this is still too much to take.

| You chose the wrong faction to do it, shadow with defence is never a good option for WG, with wolf riders or fury it should have been easy |

Also you only have FSL 10 in barb, best to drink potion of skill or use main faction first
Not sure about higher levels but I find it easier to use classic barb in WG and rusher fury barb for 2 and 3 heroes quest |
I always play classic barb for WG and usually get 3 stars first try on most quests. I'm sure fury barb might be a slightly better pick for a select few, but personally not motivated to keep switching because you will end up with 3 stars as classic for most of them.
Shadow barb, now that's something I wouldn't bother with for this type of guild. |
Some tips
Against elf/ charm elf, easy for battle wizard event with faction level 9 only.
Against hunt, holy knight with faction level 9/10 is doable.
Boss quest… I still try to figure out with faction can do it at Low faction level :) |

Thank you all for the suggestions. When I was in CL 19, I tried the classic barb and it did not work so well for me. Maybe it was because of my low FSL, or maybe I'm simply not good at managing the classic barb. So I switched to defensive shadow barb and it worked. I could win most (>90%) of the WG battles but my winning rate dropped dramatically (50% or below) after I leveled up to CL 20. I will try classic barb again and the other factions you guys mentioned to see how it works.
I rarely use PoS. Too costly for me since I switch between factions a lot :( |
| Fsl 12 is a significant boost of stats though .fsl 10 is weak unfortunately |
hunts+boss of fights=holy spell HK
2 heroes/portal heroes/hero outlaws= fury barb or classic barb with innate swiftness+tactics and wolfs. anything that hits hard with many stacks turn 1 incase of enemy magician.
elf/knight brigands/caravans=dark demon stealing bless for fiends to do 6k damage a leap will easily clear and elf vs dd is hilarious. if elf manages to kill more then 1 hell horse then you misplayed big time.
castle fights= might UN expert offense+fortune. everything from UN goes over wall so catapult isnt needed.
undead vault=holy hk
i usually skip elemental/dark elf vaults as they are the most annoying
robbers i usually go classic shooter barb but usually depends on what enemy is. for example elf robber i just go dd and laugh at that pathetic faction tickling dd units while they do 5000 damage a turn to elf |

I use only 1 faction and pretty much get 3 stars in almost all. for eg DE and TDE ,I switch builds depending on opponents. i skip most hunts. but rest usually easy.
similarly i switch builds for barb, necro.
Maybe people dont like switching builds. i usually enjoy wg so I dont mind. |
