Firstly, I want to say sorry to mods for opening this post here but i couldn't find a place other than this.
@edwin,@meshy : pls move it correct place please :)
During a recent post by Kchong, He is directly being Racist towards India and Indian's. I could have directly replied to him with another racist comment and if not me there were many other people who could have been racist towards him , the hate speech he is being doing for so long and many people have been ignoring him for so long , many people have started asking for self forum bans cause of him already , spamming forums and whinning again and again.
Personally, i won't mind a punishment for my comments in that post but for sure i need strict actions against him for Being Racist and spreading hate speech everywhere in forums.
I won't blame mods for the situation the forums is in right now, because i can understand even they have got tired of this guy already.

That topic had many issues with it from almost all parties (I think Nav was the only reasonable person, which is an odd sentence to say).
A lot of things were said and tensions ran high, a retrospective ban on not just KChong but also others wouldn't do anything, the topic is over and better to just let things settle.
What would a ban achieve? Would it make people learn their lesson? I found that to very rarely be the case. Bans tend to only be useful to end the conversation and the last post I read before I closed lwm was #27 where things were trolling but meh. |

for Meshy: Nope but this does not mean you will allow racism ? atleast a ban would simply make the forums cleaner atleast. |
After conversation with some other mods (also from russian side) all insults of whatever nature will be deleted and author will be banned. No exceptions.
Mods and admins will decide what is wrong and what is ok.
What is insulting to kchong might not be to others. What is insulting to others might not be to kchong. If i receive many complaints as i did in this case i will ban and delete.
From now on be carefull. You have been warned. Enough is enough. Last warning to kchong and others. Last topic was unacceptable. I will not delete it for few days so everybody can see what was written.
No discussion about what i said. Topic closed. Do not push me. |
