Is there a way to lower the difficulty, I chose the medium difficulty because there is very little information what actually awaits me, and its impossible at my level.
Also, do the enemies scale with your level in the campaign? When should I bother trying?

You can't change difficulty once started.
You can play it at any level but preferably with no less than a full set of the best shop arts, non shop arts will make it much easier.
You can start with tribal spirit, the others are harder. |

?? But you can. When there is an active campaign, you can quit it (click on the red cross next to the active campaign) and start at lower difficulty. That's why i shared the link. |

Yes, you can restart from scratch anytime at a different difficulty level. |
