AuthorForum rule 4.1
I've been reading a topic who reference it: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=2710396

I'm a bit curious however because I do not really understand the rule, however proper understanding is required to be able to respect said rule. It states 4.1. Flood means posting messages not related to the discussion matter; messages not carrying any sense; messages acknowledged useless by the moderators/administrators; messages violating the local rules of a forum branch. Flood is not considered a malicious violation, however such posts can be deleted and the author might get banned.

But I do not understand how posts 5 to 9 are related to the discussion matter (wage increase today) while it looks like the thread has already been moderated to abide by that rule given that posts 10 and 11 have been deleted and the authors banned.
Post 5 is me explaining how I like this day but sadly wont be able to take advantage for a reason.

The topic did indeed get off topic from there, and a harsh mod would have decided to end things there and ban, however I did not. It is fairly common to allow things to stray a little bit off topic before insisting people go back on topic.
You're basically asking why the rules don't apply to mods. Well, that's just how it is.

The rules definitely apply to mods. If you think mods have broken a rule, feel free to contact Edwin and he will sort it out.

Just to be clear, rules apply to everyone and I myself have been banned by other mods (as well as myself) for breaking the rules. Similarly other mods have also been banned when they break the rules.

I see, thanks.
