Yeah right |
That seems impossible without hunter set or enchanted arts :o |
I believe hunt WG's to be hardest for elves.
Also, wait till lev 15, they get harder. |
Now that I look at that battle, that was really easy.
Try taking last breath build, with some sprites/efk and split them into stacks of 2. Remove dragons and unicorns.
Kill enforcers first, and then deal with teddy bears.
Take a lot of mana though, I would suggest 6-7 knowledge minimum. |
Also once you are done with killing enforcers, it should look something like this:

Remember to have only trees, sprites, gmb and anchors. GL! |
@Aurelija, overall they're usually quite easy (about 80% of the time for me anyways) e.g one today https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=819413434 |
*Continued (the other 20% is usually very hard like yours xD) |
The ones which I would call hard would be the ones with thousands of guardians, those are annoying.
Btw here's another example, you can try doing it like this:
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=736990783<=1
In this example I didn't even have gh arrows, and fairly cheap arts overall, and I wass lev 13. So your one is certainly doable. |
Elves in hunt depends on rng: luck, morale, favored critical.
the quest in wg based on event battle that already been done by some people.
the problem is, that a person might be get lot of lucky strike in first turn thus making the supposed to hard battle become do-able and set it as standard. |
You should choose:
- Talent: Epext luck, advanced leadeship, baic nature.
- Wear: 2 rings of inspiration, Amulet of fortune
- Wear sword of cold if you have.
Then, you have 4 lucks, 5 morales. |
All the basic strategies (e.g., talents and initial troops settlement) for fighting large creatures are in the battle.
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=696341842
Key words for your fight: last breath, no dragon/unicorns, at least 2 units in dummy stacks, kill enforcers first, raise dead when needed, convey mana to the hero.
TBH, this fight is very doable for elves |
I get that its doable and stuff, and I am very well aware about the last breath sprites tactic long time ago.
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=774453921
Thing is, I dont want to fight this in 2 battles, one being to see what I am against and other for real fighting. Its too damn expensive for me. I will just skip all the hunt tasks... |
Well any time you see large creatures do this, any time you see slow ranged creatures try the strategy ppl use against gremlins. Any time you see lots of non-large creatures use last breath but with unicorns not sprites. Any time you see something else give up :P |
What's the strategy ppl use against gremlins? |

Me vs. 30k gremlins. |
Actually in that game I didn't get to use the strategy completely as I won faster than I thought, but usually after efk dies, you raise them to block grems again. |

Why didn't you brought faries rather than efk?
Since grems are slow you could hit and run. Also small stacks of 2 with fks would be as effective as medium stacks of 11-12. |
As for the OP.
Well, WG supposed to be based on how well other people did in these specific battles.
So, if a player picked a good to hunting faction, used a cheese tactic and extended the difficult to something that requires the same cheese tactic to be doable, then you'll have a hard time if not copying the same cheese tactic. Infact WG by default tends to pusnish factions with overall low total health since it might results into being harder to acquire 3 stars (it seems 3 stars has a default hp value to all factions), and to very popular factions since the difficult might be higher than other factions less played, because it would be less liked to be as well extended in so many different combat categories, that is assuming WG battles were actually based on previous records.
So in sume WG takes 2 things into account.
1 - Total health from the faction, for star award.
2 - How far a specific combat was been pushed forward, which is directly linked with how much played that faction is.
Both things have nothing to do with the elfs being good at hunts or not, since theorically you'll be fighting against someone else record. |
(it seems 3 stars has a default hp value to all factions)
and who came up with that idea? |

Yeah sprites could be used as well, though there is not point in doing hit and run, I need all stacks to block the gremlins. Also efk are useful for their higher ini, sometimes I might need to move efk right after raising them, higher ini helps in that.
As for 11-12, it doesn't matter, however whether I take stack of 2 or 11-12, it doesn't affect the recruiting of my gmb's and anchors, so makes no difference. |
