Imperial intelligence discovered a huge cluster of pirate ships in the northeast. Within a few months, they have collected a fleet. Probably, they are planning an attack on Imperial lands. It is necessary to destroy the pirates in order to prevent their attacks on our land!
Heroes! Gram opens the hunt for pirates!
1) The membership of each ship is waiting for the hero of the battle of the 5th level in the port city;

7) The higher the rank of Heroes, the stronger the army captured a pirate;
8) guns options, depending on their level of improvement and the Hero;
9) To eliminate the risk of capture by pirates of the elements modifiers do not work in combat. Accept any artifacts;
10) Hunt pirates can not more than 12 times a day, attempts unused transferred the next day;
11) to hunt pirates last only 7 days until January 25 inclusive (two days at the end of the fighting, before January 27, inclusive);
12) In the victory over the Pirates have a chance to get the artifacts creatures;
13) Many of the pirates ply the slave trade, so there is a chance to meet the prisoners in the cell creatures on board a pirate ship. The cell can be destroyed by magic or melee. With the destruction of the cells, prisoners being joined to the Hero, release them. One stack of surviving creatures can take to the next fight;
14) Empire generously reward the heroes who collected the largest amount of silver. |

How should wizards play this event?
obviously can't play as mage.. 50% less magic damage, and might build not much effective at lower levels.
Any ideas?
or is it another event just to piss of wizs? |

You can increase the magic damage by increasing your ship capacity using the silver from winning. |
for Santremus:
Increasing it to 80-90% army will require 3-4 days ( that too if i win all and don't invest in canons.. which is not a good idea ).. point is what build should i use before increasing army? |

Now how was it last time, higher ranks got better rewards? And to get high ranks you should take a loss or two after promotion (since you needed to win x battles in a row to get to the next level)? |

If you expect everytime... EVERY single time new type of event, then sorry.. let alone here, you won't find it anywhere in any other game.
As far as this event is concerned, its only 2nd time such event-type is happening.

12 Battles a day. The events have been pretty intensive lately. Would require minimal 1 and a half hours to 2 hours a day for 7 days straight. Also the gold investment.
Event is fun tho. Had missed the last one. |
