Author | Why isnt TG Balanced per Faction? |
... Just like WG is?
The current situation is totally misguided, Imo.
Let me explain:
It pushes people to buy DE and Elf (And probably Dwarf too) Castles to succeed in TG, when they are the Factions with biggest population/players.
And totally scares people away from getting a Necro or Knight Castle.
For instance, I really really love playing UN, and always will, but it really iss a hassle when it comes to Thieving, no comparison with playing TG as DE AT ALL.
I mean, if you compare it to HG, for example:
Yes, there are Factions that are better than others at Hunting, of course. .. But you are actually in competition against people of your own Faction, not against the whole player base, when it comes to get an Archivement.
Just wanna find the "Logic" in it. :P
Thx in advance. | IF you only play as UN, you'll only go as far as UN with a specific set of AP would allow you to. The problem would choose a 'more effective' faction, and then switch into a 'less effective' faction. Then you'll get yourself into trouble.
It's all a matter of taste, some factions are just boring to do TG.
As long you always manage to get a decent amount of kills per lose, you'll be fine. | Just wanna find the "Logic" in it.
There is no logic into this dymanic system. | Just like WG is?
Why do you think WG is balanced? There are some battles which are better used to some factions compared to other ones. | Classic might necro is not bad at TG at all, just it can be a little boring to ambush with him in long run as usually his ambushes are longer to play. I dont think TG is not well balanced. BW is suitable for TG as well, demon too, (why not tribal as well?), barbarian can do well too. I personally only consider necro and knight little boring to play TG. But they are not much worse compared to elf, just you need good fsl for your level with them.
If CL 15 elf fsl 11 can have 45% winning ratio on TG 7 in min ap, I believe necro with the same conditions can have 40% (just an example, my personal opinion, not real proof noe, but I can look at that in few days when I have some time) | Btw in WG necro in overall is better than elf, there almost aren't errands where nevro easily couldnt have 3 starrs, while elf can face many problems in many 'PvP' errands ;) | The thing I mean is that there is a small variation in the quantity of opponent stacks in WG depending on the Faction you enter the mission with.
> Proof is that you cant swap Class/Faction after failing the mission in WG.
Now I say that the difference with TG is that the quantity of opponent stacks is the same no matter what Faction/Class you play with.
> Proof is that I personally had a way bigger Win Ratio when playing TG as TDE, and everybody generally knows that Elves and DEs have an easier time when Thieving.
Conclusion: They should make opponent numbers vary depending on the Faction you enter with, like it happens with WG clearly. | eventualy you will have to have all factions built. then to raise their fsl, you will ambush with them as well.
ofc seen some love a faction too much, try to go up with it for promised fsl 13, in the expense of possible resist levels ;)
btw this feels wrong.
Now I say that the difference with TG is that the quantity of opponent stacks is the same no matter what Faction/Class you play with.
wish you could ambush with knight and see their caravan HP ;) | unholy has a lot more bigger caravans than classic necro as in all pve fights needs to kill more.classic necro is fine for tg with min ap and might build. |
