AuthorLevel 6 Castle Upgrade
Hi everybody :)
So i am gonna be getting to level 6 soon, and my main methods of play will be thief's guild, mercs guild and hunts
I am going to be getting a TGI soon after i purchase the castle upgrade.
I have been thinking about three different factions to play as
I either want to get Elite forestkeepers, Shrews or Xbows.
What does everybody recommend for playing the above combats?

for TG, elf/dark elf is definitely preferred ..Knight for ambush ..Goodness ...dont ever think about it


But seeing you asked so many perspective, the range is kinda range ..Xbow is good in some hunts and mercs guild

Definitely elf / DE for TG.
Elf with EFK + Sprites ;]
DE with shrew best in TG, high ini high reach high damage output.
Wouldn't a strong mage be good for TG too?

Or a demon with good FSL for Gating

or a tribal with good Tribal Points

or a barbarian with good attack.

I think all factions are good enough if you play properly.

I tried few rangers battles at Minimum AP and won 5/6, lost one just by One unit - One creature
^because at start the difficulty is minimum and rise as you win

all faction is doable for tg, but some faction do better overall as a thief

you gonna want to think about cost per battle though...
there is a difference between what's effective and interesting compared to what is efficient, don't forget you gonna have to do hundred's of tg...

if you want to be a thief, be a dwarf. caravans' strength is lower

I think they changed this. And Dwarf is only really effective with FSL9.

In full arts, probably, but costly.

Its strange because when i played back in the day, everything was different aha
TGIs were much easier to get hahaha :)
Im thinking i may go with Dark elf because those shrews are crazy aha

No matter what faction you play...
Lg 0 at lv6 is certainly not healthy...
At this low level it doesn't matter much which faction you play ambushes with. Play what you like, level 6 will be over in a few days to weeks either way. ;)
shrews may seem great but boy do they die easy.. I recommend barbarian with boar riders. At level 8, it is very mobile and has potential for wonderful aggressive play.
I was curious, is there any way of seeing a simulator of what level 6 Tamer Dark Elf with both stalkers and termagents
for Mzy:
tamer dark elf at level 6 wouldn't be so good i think. Maybe they can summon 30 spiders :p
TDE can recruit almost no termagents, specially true at lower levels. Just for a comparison I'm at CL 10 can recruit up to 44 shres without rally, but only a maximum of 14 termagents max.
For Normal DE tier 1 units consume A LOT of troops from tier 2 as DE, for TDE however you can recruit both with ease.

Nothing beats EFK + Spirities at lower levels in TG, you can literally win on first turn.
That being said you cannot go wrong with shrews as well, they're pretty good.

For PvE aspect of TG, it really doesn't matter that much which faction you're gonna play with, since you'll start losing eventually, because the TG system is stupid. For PvP aspect fast and agressive factions are generally the best choices. Chaos builds are costly because they require more AP in order to be effective. Hybrid darkness/holy are kinda better to be used when teaming with someone. Slower factions are geneally worse in ambushes.
