Wizard focus is more on spells. You deal more damage with your hero than you deal with your troops. Wizard is also a defensive faction, you won't rush in your enemy.
Battlewise wizard is a hybrid faction. It uses chaos magic as support, but not as the main way of dealing damage. Your hero will do some damage, but not as much as your troops. |
Battlewise dies much faster than wizard but has a much higher damage output.
You will see differences emerge as you level up, unlock more upgraded troops and talents. |

In Hunts, play as normal wizard.
In Group battles you can try battle wiz.
For duels you can try either.
In survival tournament mostly go with normal wizard. |

at lvl 5 i think normal is better. battlewiz is slow and grems have low HP |

There's no reason to stick to one or the other as unlike with different factions you can freely switch both types with no downside... Both have pros and cons but are valid choices in most situations IMO. |
