Author | Failing to report on time in MG |
I heard it somewhere but just wanted to make sure, if you ever do that you don't get that quest again right? |
i think if you won a quest and failed report on time, then you won't get that quest again. since technically you won that quest difficulty level, in all other case you will get it again |
No you won't get it again. |
for Slust:
Even if you lose it as PI pointed out? |
That, I don't know. |

if you lose quest, then reporting time won't be there i think
only remaining option is you accept quest and forgot do it in 10hurs, and once you find you are out of time. with out doing it come back and report... means your not doing the quest in 10 hour and report it (i did it lot of times:P )
you will scolded by mg guy .... |

Quest difficult increase in case of successful (even if fail to report)
But lose MG points if failed to report.
This was introduced to prevent unlimited saving of low exp high fsp quest. |
There are so many ways to grind out extremely high faction level and super low combat level account back in the days (intentionally failing hunter quests, mercenary quests, and helping in hunt give no exp etc).
I guess the admins are doing what they can to minimize these possibilities. |
actually, i think that not long ago i did a quest, just after i got it, but forgot to report and turned off the PC. The day after, when i realized it, i went to the guild, and instead of telling me off, the guy said "well done" and gave me the reward..
Somebody has to verify this, but i think that it may be, if you do the quest within the 10 hours, it accepts even if you report it later. |

no..? You have to get your reward before time passes and that includes the MG point. |

again, it happened to me, so it's not such a definite answer.
It may have to do with the fact of logging off just after the quest: a similar thing happens when you get the tarver luck boost and then log off, next time you log on, even after several hours, the bonus is still there and allows you to make one battle unless you change gear or enroll.
Maybe MG also accepts it if the first thing you do is to go back and report when logging back in. |
for guyb:
Hmm interesting, never heard of that before.
Thanks for the answers everyone! |
if several is < 10 then it is normal.i was lazy many times to travel back for report but never got something more than yelling |

I failed a quest the other day due to going to bed before reporting in. |
