Hi guys! I am soon to reach fsl 9, maybe tomorrow or so. I already have fsl 5 for barb, so nice resistance there, however I practically don't have any other resistance. So here are my two questions:
1) Should I build resistance in other factions or should I focus on elf 10(LONG way)?
2) If I should, for which factions and how much? I definitely don't wanna spend time to build same resistance for all other factions, instead I would like to focus on gaining resistance against specific factions, so which factions is elf weakest against level 12 onward?

I've seen several CL 12 with 5 FSL in every faction, and others with 0, so up to you.
Its just a matter of lazyness IMHO. If you feel like, then do it, your winrate increases the more FSL you have in every faction. |

You should do both. From now on levelling your main faction is going to take a very long time. So, save up gold to build other castles and then do hunts and MG with those factions. Once you have a decent fl you can try ambushing or some types of events. Use your main faction for WG, pvp, ambushing, ...
That way you will level both and have some in between goals while you travel the long road to elf 10 and more. And hopefully we will get some more events in the future where you can get fsp in a faction without having to build the castle. |

anyway im currently facing the same situation as you with my main about to reach fsl 9 ( though not tmr lol ) and i have fsl 5 as a knight and well now im currently building elf and necro while i reached fsl 3 in dwarf last time without building much castle...
i feel its better to build some other faction not only because of resistance but also not to waste all the easy hunts and mg's im sure ur getting and to also make the game more challenging and thus more fun ( im sure you'll find it boring to slaughter all those rank 0 - 4/5 mg's with your full castle elf...xp ) |

Faction resistance helps - though it comes at a balance of a lower faction in your main. You therefore can gain more resistance, but have less attack etc. I fell foul of this and had too much resistance, while my main was not high enough to be fully competitive (still true to one extent, but I think I am close enough in my main now to not be worried).
Resistance is good, but will not change the world. There are factions you will face that beat you hands down every time - resistance against them will not change things, just mean you lose by less. Instead I would go for resistance against factions that you sometimes win and sometimes lose against, in those close fought situations the extra resistance may turn the tide.
Equally I am fully for the - I just fancy a change approach and its mroe fun for me. So alternatively just play what looks fun for you! |

| I have another question, how much castle should I build? I mean the minimum is up to lev 5, which for de costs only around 3k or less, or do I do lev 8, including hydras and fort but not shrews, which would cost a LOT more. |
Build as little as possible unless you may want to play faction again later.

You would have to buy all tiers(till your CL) in order to participate in battles.
Buy all tiers, don't upgrade them, do easy hunts and MGs. And participate in events which don't require you to build full castles (eg: in the past PoT). |

I have lev 5 tribal castle, in which I can do a few easy hunts, should I continue playing tribal till fsl 3 and switch to de? Or should I switch to dwarf till maybe fsl 3? |
I'm currently using this formule.
Main FSL to 5, everything else to 1.
Then main 6, everything else 2... Keep doing 1 level main, 1 level subs till you reach main 9, everything 4, then wait your main reach 11 till you level up all subs to 5 or you could level up half of subs to 5 and half stay on 4, then you either keep half/half or follow the first formule again, since level 10 - 12 takes forever.
However if you're planning to level up only key factions and not everything, you could put them 1 - 2 level higher, depending of how many you want.
Aditionally if you don't care about money wise, you could put everything at 1:1 ratio, and just keep using potion of skill for PvP battles. I was thinking about doing this, that's why my necro is a litte low, but I guess I'll use APP on CL 9for CG... |
